Lovely Ghazal. Can someone please explain what does he say at 1:40, sooye mekhana ........ haram atay hain? what does he say here?

@azeemasim01 word is SAFEERAAN-e-HARAM .. ye aik tanz tha shayad..iski background hay aik.. ye doosri islami sarbarahi conference kay mauqay par kaha gaya tha..jab Bhutto sahab nay sab islami mulkon kay sarbaraahon ko lahore mein meeting par invite kiya tha.. safeeran-e-haram wohi hain lambi abaa walay shahenshahan aur maykhana say murad Bhutto sahab ki maizbaani hay :-) baqi aap khud samajhdar hain.

Thanks Dr. Sahib. Some of the YouTube asked about th euse of instruments in this RARE recording of Mehdi Hassan- I tell: The instruments are traditional: Sarangi, Tabla & Harp only. It is a Radio recording. I served this department more than 36 years. Retired as Station Director, Radio Pakistan, Lahore 0n 01-01-2006. I composed for the artiste 03 composition, he recorded in 1986,87 & 88, on his request. He is well-known & very close to me. This song is MAGIC with the minimum insruments. Thanks.

keep in mind plz Munir never sang Faiz in ghazal style.. i have his ghazals collection and some semi-classical non-filmy gems but to my knowledge he sang just a couple or more of Faiz SONGS. Film singing is a tuf job. Aapko sab say baRi restriction wahan time ki hay. 3 min kay song mein aap nay aik hi style say sab kuch deliver karna hota hay. almost typical aik hi sur taal mein sab antray.. bahut kum variations allowed ki hain mauseeqaron nay. Hell of a tuf job yara.
