This guy obviously doesn't have any experience with Pell Grant users. Those things are wasted and abused by people looking for a free money just as much as they are used to legitimate purposes. Furthermore, the more money you give to people to go to college on the tax payer dollar the more colleges will charge students and the harder it will be for people to earn their OWN way into higher education. I'm a 3rd year College student and I don't want more govt money spent on education.

I voted democrat instead of independent for this election, only my third ever, and it's mostly for the reasons Obey was ranting about. his rancor is very representative of America's disgust with the GOP and how it has over the last twenty years become exactly the opposite of what it has always claimed to be. The GOP's alternative budget is a joke, the loudest and most visible republicans left are xenophobes and religious zealots. I hope we are witnessing the death of the two party system.
