  • It would be interesting if you did music from The Touhou Project series.

It really isn't classical at all, but it's still really incredible and I'm sure that it would look nice on the MAM.

  • Bravo, sir, it does make me feel I'm on a farm...

-Sounds like it's composed in F major...

  • What the heck?! Can I play this on piano, sir?

  • @gsarci2011 If you have a violinist and a 'cellist to play with you (it's a trio).

  • You shouldn't have given up composing. Ever thought of writing for the movies?

  • @MrRasputin100 There are plenty of people who want to be composers more than I do, and too few people who want to play the music of new composers. There are also a lot of people who are better composers than I am; I'm better than most people at certain things (other than composition), so I'm going to stick with what I'm good it.

  • Hello, Mr. Malinowski.

I'm 15 years old, have performed in Carnegie Hall previously on the piano both solo and as accompaniment, and I'm currently studying college-level Theory 1, 2, and counterpoint.

Just thought you should know that your music is an inspiration to me, and that it keeps me going in my studies. Thanks for making my goal of professional composition that much more attainable!

  • Pretty sweet. I feel like you might be erring on not having enough repetition vs the copious variation. Kinda get lost in the music. Maybe the sections don't have enough tonal contrast?

  • Yeah, I can agree with that.

There were reasons I gave up being a composer ...

  • this music sucks balls

  • Sorry you listen to the High school musical track and radio music.

  • Reminds me of Alkan and a bit of Scarlatti, possibly cause of the sound of the piano, well done!

  • Olde Tyme Music.

  • I think this is my favorite Malinowski piece. Very clever and pleasing Old World meets Wild West theme. That little modal sounding interlude at 2:11 was absolutely great.

  • The one beginning at 2:11, you mean?

  • >interlude at 2:11 was absolutely great

Yeah, that's a little trick I learned from Beethoven.

  • It reaminds me a little bit of Bach... strange. Anyway, I like it!

  • I agree with the Zelda comment... that would be just awesome.

  • I Stephen,

can I use your fantastic video in my blog?

  • nice job! very cute

  • This is a great piece of music

    Well done!

  • it would be awesome if you did any music from the legend of zelda

  • I'd say my favorite music is definitely this piece, one of those in your other videos, or something modern-Western-popular. I'll let you interpret that.

  • >I'll let you interpret that.

How much latitude are you going to give me on the interpretation? ;-)

  • Anywhere south of the Arctic Circle is fine.

  • One blushes.

  • Another smiles?

  • GREAT! Oh the sarcasm of the internet

  • Now I'm kind of blushing too.

  • It's always good to get the blood moving.

  • Very. I propose that we all blush.

  • Okay, everybody, on the count of three ...

  • Great music!

  • Love your music! Bravo!

  • awesome
