So many haters around here. This result is beyond extraordinary. Sure, it's very easy to say the hair looks unnatural, now that you know the story behind it, but have common sense, the hair looks remarkable, moreso considering the starting point. I'd have a hard time telling whether it's "fake" or not and an even harder time inferring any close ressemblance to the scalp's former state.

First, the doc is a victim of an older hair transplant procedure gone wrong, that helped him dedicate his life to helping others. Second, BHT is cutting edge technology,

10000 hairs where there were 30000--don't expect the same level of thickness without at least one more equivalent procedure--but time will help.

So let's not be too harsh on a work in progress.

An AFRO (max tight curls) would do wonders for coverage. Just a thought.

If I ever choose to get a hair transplant it would be this doctor. My brother got a transplant done to fix his hairline and thinning of hair on scalp but years later (7-9 years) it looks worse than before I think. I'm balding too but just losing hairline, but I can live with it, but this would be my doc of choice if I had the cash and wanted my hair fixed.

@7beers It's not about "people liking them" always, it's usually just to boost your confidence back up. I love long hair and always wanted to dread my hair, but because I'm balding I can never dread it. I can grow it long like I used to when I was younger but it makes me feel uncomfortable now and it would be too thin to do anything with anyway. If you feel good about your worth, then you bet people will pay a lot because of it.
