IDK if you're still looking at this video, but PLEASE HELP! I've done multiple combinations that end in the same. I used DEATH and it doesn't work. I thought of was too weak, so I fought other enemies. I was around 7k - 9k; Hope was around 6k. Since then, I got a lot of CP by beating a lot of Adamanchelid & the little Cactuars. Most of the character's HP is around High 8k - 10k; except for Hope (close to 7k).

Should I BEAT the game than go back or just keep trying???

Beat the game. Get the Growth Egg. Farm your ass off on the Adamantoise in the Edenhall. Sooner or later, you'll need the Platinum Ingots (sells for 150,000 gil each) and Trapezohedons (which are 2,000,000 in the shops) it drops to upgrade your weapons to the ultimate form.

Once you got your hands on 1 Trapezohedon, you can upgrade a Shamanic Spear to its ultimate form then dismantle it to get 3 Trapezohedon. This costs around 1,500,000 gil.

You can repeat this to get as many Trapezohedons as you need. Any future Trapehezodon drops from Adamantoise will then give you 750,000 gil profit (1,500,000 / 2, since you get 2 extra Trapezehdons from dismantling Shamanic Spear's ultimate form) instead of 2,000,000 (from the shop).

By the time you are done upgrading your desired weapons, you'll most likely have maxed out your Crystarium already.

Another place he didn't mention and get a lot of CP is in Gran Pulse. I found an area that's filled with Leyak and Rangda. They are some of the easiest enemies in Gran Pulse. Everytime you beat them, you should get 2,500 CP. Unlike some other places, Leyak and Rangda keep appearing.

About the CP farming in chapter 13...you mention not having beaten the Tiamat Eliminator yet which means we have access to the Jabberwocky and Wladislaws. However seeing your character stats (specifically their HP level) this is happening post end game. So...what am I missing? Did you mean once you finish the game you can go back and before the Tiamat Eliminator farm for CP? Or is it just for the first run through? Tnx

i finally killed him with death and obtained a 5 star rating. i suggest to auto-hinder neochu for a few rounds then go in with death. thats the only way it worked for me. goodluck.

@iamowe1992 it worked for me in just three hits with death. i hate using death spamming, its jeep way of winning a battle. but in that part i made an exception because the people who made this game made it where you can only get it through that mission and made it where you only can get it near the end of the game which is retarded , they should of at least made it where we could get it on ch 9 maybe ch 10. but not 2 charpters before the game ends.

i still think they need to remake final fantasy 7, it is still the best final fantasy game to me, and they need to remake ff 8 and ff 9, and they need to do away with ff 10 and 10x2 those 2 games are the far worse final fantasy games ever made. ff 10x2 if i wanted to play dress up i would of brought a dressing game. and ff 10the story line plain out sucked. the characters even sucked in the game.

other than a couple of mistakes they did i think the game did good, the growth egg could have came sooner i dont think everyone want to waist nearly 10 days trying to lvl up their characters then all of a sudden they get the growth egg which they could have used a hell a lot sooner than ch 11, 12, or more. and what is it having to progress through the game to unlock the next lvl of cryst? it should unlock with the progress of your cp not having to beat a boss to be able to go a higher lvl.

and they need to a way better job on getting the summons because the way they did it was completely retarded, it should have been the way it was in final fantasy 8 beat the summons till the hp hit 0 and you get the summons, not doing this and that and have a fucking time fucking limit. and they need to better designing of the summons some of them dont even look like what they should look like, like odin what is he a tranformer? i thought ithe game was called final fantasy not transformers.

do you know by the time we get the growth egg it would be nearly useless. we most likely would have beaten the freaking game by the time we get the stinking egg. what is the point of getting the egg after we beat the f'n game? wow we get to beat the freaking missions...i like doing the missions but if it takes beating the game first to even have a good chance in beating mission 55 then it pointless to even try to get the thing.

@RAWDEAL335 go for vanille's death spell like this guy said. i equipped van and fand with earth, magic, and physical protection, hope with + magic. use beledonna wand for higher debuff. it took me about 10 to 15 tries doing it this way but pations is a virture. and i suck at spelling. anyway the real threats are the little guys but the moment neochu died just summon. everybody will be healed and you can start killing the little guys

Hopefully this helps: Death has a higher chance of sticking when Neochu has the debuff Curse, Vanille has the buffs Haste, Vigilance, and Faith, and finally use the belladonna wand (or it's upgrades like I did) and have Vanille be a level 4 saboteur and you should be able to hit it with Death. PS have a sentinel so Vanille is disrupted when using Death. And that's how you do it!

@schlecht13 yes, you can return to all chapter 11 and beyond's areas, except the Tesseracts... my advice, after you defeat Barthandelus a second time, GET THIS GROWTH EGG, or, you can progress all the way to Orphan's Cradle and return to Gran Pulse through a teleporter there, but, make sure that once you make it to Orphan's Cradle, you go back to Gran Pulse and get the Growth Egg, it will really be worth it, since some easy fights award 32,000 CP, 64 with the egg.

I would still be on 1st Bathandelus battle if it wasn't for your vids... afterwards I completed it on first go. Then I hit Dahaka, watched a vid of yours, did it first go. Then Barthandelus and Orphan... both on second tries. Your vids may be short but it in fact helps when remembering what to do, thanks man. Now I can mix it up a little when leveling my Crystarium. Another great place is that small green cactuar in the Aggra Pasteurs. Go into the battle with Snow (Sentinel) as the leader, Fang (Synergist) and Hope (Synergist). Make sure you equip Snow with as much Pain Dampener as you can, but also don't forget the Growth Egg!!! Go into battle, inflict 'Challenge' on the Cactuar as it's doing its 'Dance' and wait for it to 'Mature' and grow as by now you should be buffed and ready, switch to a paradigm with Hope (Commando) Fang (Commando) and Snow....

@erikapwns And Snow should distract the Cactuar (which should be inflicting 1000 Needles and NOT Kick) with his Sentinel abilities and you'll soon see why the 'Pain Dampeners' are damn useful later on, whilst Fang and Hope in Commando mode inflicting damage on the Cactuar. Best to also buff Hope and Fang with 'Enfire' (Hope should have it) as the Cactuar is vulnerable to 'Fire' damages. Then continue to let Hope and Fang attack until the Cactuar is dead. And with Growth Egg....

And with Growth Egg, you should get about '30,000' CP in less than a minute. :) Hope this trick works!! And just one more note, the 'Pain Dampeners' that Snow equipped prevents 'Pain' which stops him from doing physical abilities and attacks. Because the Cactuars '1000 Needles' inflicts both 'Pain' and 'Fog' (which stops magical attacks and abilities). And I highly recommend that you have your final Crystarium stage unlocked!! The battle will be much easier!! GOODLUCK!! ^^

I've cast death about 200 times now.. i have the marlboro wand too. & not even once has it hit... I think I've fought this guy 100 times now & i've yet to beat him.. Honestly, what is the % of hitting death on him?

@emogothkid94 The chance is 1%. Each negative status ailment increase the chance by 1%. Imperil is the only one that works. Bringing the chance to 2%. The number of saboteurs also effects the chance. 0,05% each role level I believe. Not sure about that number. In case of level 5 (max) for all three characters roles it can get to 0,75%, bringing the total to 2,75% chance to kill. That wand has no effect on the chance.

For CP farming I would definately recommend the 6 Cryohedrons in Mah'habara, the secret area you can get to with Atomos if you ride back from Sulyya Springs (I don't know when this becomes available) .. Fang, Sazh and Lightning with Cerberus (Com/Com/Com) and Aurora Scarf can kill the 6 mobs in less than 3 seconds, with a Growth Egg, this pack gives a whopping 14000 CP, and you can respawn the pack by walking down to the tunnel you can in through, then back to the mobs!

@tunje53 If you're talking about the 'Death' trick, just keep retrying and eventually (depending on your luck with it) you should be able to kill Neochu with Death. Believe me, I've done it. It works. But I was lucky my 1st time doing this mission, I think on my like 7th or 9th try I got Death to work on like my 2nd time using it on that try. So it is possible to use the Death trick. After Neochu is gone, the rest is cake. Just heal when you need to and destroy the little buggers and you're done

@Uninjasaur1 A general tips for all battles you wanna use death in is to equip the Marlboro Wand or Nirvana. Marlboro wand is upgraded from Belladonna Wand wich you can buy from Plautus' Workshop. Once you have it, upgrade it til it's max (requires 38,040 exp), then use a Uranite to transform it into a Marlboro Wand. U can uprage the Marlboro Wand into a Nirvana the same way but requires more exp (153,000) and a Trapzehedron to transform it. Those weapon will boost your magic accuarity.

@T0mahawk145 beat every titan trail, then a new Titan Throne mission will spawn (atacus, mission 51). He's kinda hard, takes about 10 minutes, but can be really fun to fight (such as trying to stagger him, which means you need to hit 999 stagger to do so)

For those who dont have over 10k HP. Your best possible strat is to abuse the Attrition paradigm. (Vanille:Saboteur, Then a Medic and Sentinel of your choice.)

If you have one, Sprint shoes will definately help you out. The faster vanille can cast the better.

I also suggest a secondary Paradigm Where your medic (I used hope, here.) Can go Synergist instead to maintain buffs, if you lack Shrouds.

If things start going south, just summon, or if you're really lazy, retry. Deathspam is luck based.

ok so Neochu kills my Vanille in 1 hit, sometimes even when i have shell on (the little baby things always hit me first then that happened) any form of advise i can have that doesnt make me do kill many other things? with my luck ill die instantly anyway XD

YES finally my death worked, and barebackchamp when you kill him with death the next time, use the discretion paradigm with either snow or fang and your vanille with hope healing since he has curaja and curasa, also use a summon which usually wont kill them all unless your really strong than go back to discretion and never switch once there are only 3 left its really easy but dont switch

The best way to accumulate cp is keep fighting this boss (Neochu)..... he is strong..... but the reward with the groth egg equiped is 126000cp , not even long gui gives u this much....... ok the way to defeat it is through fortisol and aegisol before the battle.... have vanille (leader) light and fang. fang as guard, light as medic and vanille sab... fang will atrack the enemies to her, with van keep throuwing death, when he is gone, change to medic, com, com.... piece of cake.

Also, it should be noted that the first area of Mah'habara, right before you get to the waystone, has a lot of easy enemies with tons of CP. I equipped a Growth Egg and found that if I went forward and then backtracked to the save point, I was able to get 130,000 CP in about 15 minutes or less. This can work with parties that are only Level 4.

@ladani2007 After you beat the game, you return to the beginning of Orphan's Cradle. To the left there's a portal to Gran Pulse and if you completed the silver mark mission in Oerba then you can teleport right to Oerba.

@CmPunkGoth You don't HAVE to use it. Spam him with death, if it still hasn't stuck by the time he releases "Screech" retry the mission. It took me about 6 goes before it finally stuck. It would also help to have the Belladonna Wand equipped and on it's SECOND tier as it increases the chance of Death sticking.

I've been spamming death with vanille after casting imperil for no exxageration 3 days. maybe an hour of non stop trying each. I just payed my little brother 20 bucks to cast fortisol and aegisol, enter the battle, use imperil, and then spam death. his task was to try this for 2 hours, and if death ever worked he would immidiately pause it, run and get it. I showed him what to do, left him on his own, by the time I got settled, he came knocking. It worked in 3 tries. FML

@PimpinFAR Are you talking about the Cie'th Stone thats at the spot you fought Barty? If so you have to defeat Mark Mission 27 (Taejin's Tower: Apex) and Mark Mission 51 (Faultwarrens FInal Boss). A warning though. They are very formidable opponents.

if your wondering how to get trapezium(dunno how to spell it :P) you'll get 3 genji gloves in the duration of the game ,if you fully upgrade the Genji Glove* then dismantle it you'll get a cieth tear and a trapezium trust me it works!

@mapleleafs95959 Yeah, Screech killed me a lot too while I was making this video. Unfortunately, unless you're able to live through that attack, you just have to keep retrying the battle. Try Shell and equip your party if you have magical resistance, or consider upgrading Vanille's Belladonna Wand to the Malboro Wand, which should help the odds a little.

@mapleleafs95959 Also, equip Sprint Shoes to Vanille and use a Fortisol and an Aegisol before the fight. That's how I did it and I got it second try. :D

@mapleleafs95959 Here's a good tactic. Create a party with Vanille as your party leader. The other two should be a character that excels in the Sentinel role (Fang or Snow) and a character that excels in the Synergist role (Sazh or Hope though Hope may be the better choice). Create the Predomination(?) Role (SAB-SEN-SYN) Get the Synergist to place the Vigilance buff on you and personally place the Curse debuff on Neochu. With those two in place repeatedly cast Death. It should die eventually.
