I have an '06 F4i and it was the first street bike I owned. Fuel injection is nice for beginners because you don't have to mess with the carbs like an f3 or f4. I have ridden my buddy's f3 and it was a nice bike but I don't like playing with carbs/

Both. It's just easier. I don't have to clean the carbs every spring. No rejetting, no messing with the idle. Just get on and go!

Go with the f4i, the injection makes for a smoother throttle response and you hardly ever have to work on them.
