  • strikers are great.. one thing most hunters dont look at tho is noise.. this broadhead and the g5 montec will make a hissing sound when flying.. when u go with a solid broadhead with no holes like trophy ridge shuttle t locks, you wont get this hissing when in flight. thus, less noise for the deer or elk to spook over.. jus somethin to look into..

  • Hey deerhunter. Learn how to spell

  • Okay,Dont take this effencive but these broadheads stink! i have The bowtech Destroyer And when I shoot these broadheads i can hear it when its flying through the air. And The Best broadhead To Get Is The "Riegn" It has the swivel tech broadhead blade mecanism, with the shatter proff tip! and Dont take this comment effensive im jus expressing my thought of my proffension -TNT Outdoors

  • I've had guys fly their broadheads to 60 yards hitting where their field tips hit.

  • @OrangeNeckInNY Yeah, they are amazing

  • Okay, I don't know what I'm talking about. It's not like I haven't been trained by an archery pro that's been in business for over 20 years. Do what you will, but I'll keep doing what has kept the pro shop open for over 20 years.

  • No broadhead is going to spin true to the arrow shaft if you don't square up the arrow shaft before you glue in the insert, and then square up the insert. You also need to align your broadhead blades to your vanes - two blades down, two vanes down. If your bow is paper-tuned, why would you go moving your rest to adjust to the broadhead? You just messed up the perfectly tuned bow by doing that. A paper-tuned bow and a perfectly spun broadhead arrow will hit exactly where your field points hit.

Don't talk about something if you don't know what you're talking about. People will start to think you are full of dodo.

    1) You don't need to line up blades with vanes. That is an old myth and doesn't make a bit of scientific sense.

    2) I do square shafts, but only for impact, it doesn't help align inserts. If the end is not square, the insert will conform to the inside diameter of the arrow.

    3) Paper tuning is a first step in tuning and is usually skipped. BH tuneing is best.

  • used em love em.... but did anybody else know that they gotta be sharp? I didnt know that....

  • Great, another useless "tip" thats nothing more than an ad for a product

  • G5 montec is the best

  • @domenexful agreed

  • yall i have used g5 montec and rage 2 blade both are great heads but rage has bigger cut and flys better

  • G5 Striker is the best broadhead on the planet. Period.

  • the tip was to buy this? thanks.......

  • Rage Broadheads are junk....

  • RAGE 2 blade

  • check out magnus stinger buzzcuts. sharper than any broadhead ive seen and a lifetime guarantee! (no offense to G5!)

  • MONTECSSS

  • I prefer the Carbon steel ones, as they are more versatile then SS - only a drop of oil and the hold up for ever.

With replacement blade heads you only aline a single blade not totally perfect and they can spin-test the broadhead as long as they want, it doesn't matter as long as you screw around with them.

  • G5 STRIKERS ARE GREAT!
