  • Amhara is really not an Ethnicity by the way. Amhara is a pot all other Ethiopians ethnicities melt into......This is why today the Amhara is the most mixed group....And it is a good thing because it was kept Ethiopians together...I'm Amhara, but I consider myself first and formost Ethiopian. So when people ask me my ethnicity I'm confused about it because I have so much mixed heritage. I like this confusion because it reminds me that I have only one home called Ethiopia. This is Amhara style.

  • we are african's,we must be pround we are from africa ..

  • Today I met an Ethiopian man and women in a starbucks (here in the US in a small town too). It was really cool because I had never met any. But I had read about them fromWikipedia. I walked over and I asked them if they were Ethiopian. She said she was. It was really a neat experience. I asked her is she was Amharic or Oromo. She said Amharic. Its really crazy you can learn about someone from the internet like that and then actually recognize someone thousands of miles from home. Weird.

  • my first time of listening to ethiopian songs and im already loving it! :)

  • When I LOOK at you ALL,and I've seen AND,been around you ALL,the similarities you share are wonderful and yet, seemingly overlooked by YOU ALL.ALL of you have,at one point, asked me with extreme curiosity, which one of you that I am.And I would never really respond, I would just smile.I am what is called an American.I have studied you ALL since I was a child, and regardless of WHO DOESN'T LIKE WHAT I SAY, THERE ISN'T A WORTHLESS ONE AMONG YOU,PERIOD!!!BECAUSE THE ONE SAID SO!!!ONE LOVE

  • and yea long live somali, afar, and oromo people.

  • you are just one useless piece of shit. Get the fuck out of my channel you bastard ONEG. Just like you always do talk sheet like a girl but do nothing. That is who you really are bitches.

  • Tigres says Tigre Tigre...Oromos say Oromos Oromos...maybe it is time for Amaras to say Amara instead of Ethiopia. It seems other ethnic groups are always blaming for everything Amara and nobody is standing up for Amara people.

  • @AmaraKoreda

There is no ethinic group called ..Amara... but the AMAHARA name reffers to Gojame..Gondere..wolloye...Agew and Tigre..which means Highland christians...so do not decieve yourself..saying Amahara..you have to say Either..gojame..gondere..Wolloye or Agew..

  • where did you find that?do you want to erase us atleast in name?

  • Halafi Mengedi,

  • The problem is you guess too much. I wouldn't agree with you. Eritreans and Ethioppian remain one people at heart. This is not a matter of port or resources. It is a matter of History. If true democratic and free society prevails and get rid off the pluto kleptocratic regimes in Asmara and Addis the wall will fall off its own accord.

  • Waffiki is right, look how many people are smiling and enjoying this, naturally. The girls dancing are very beautiful.

  • fab. love it. everyone smileing and dancing, please God look after black people.

  • Its amharic.

  • soodaf dadka fiican u raaxey

  • I love African. They dance nice

  • We might as well join in the dance because Bush is draining America DRY. Can't help but listen to the music....gets your mind off of negative stuff.

  • and yet your comment is nothing but negative. Take a moment and ask yourself is it Bush that is sucking America dry, or is Americans that are allowing it to happen? America and Americans in their effort to be politically correct has become morally bankrupt. So remember evertime you point your finger at someone, the remaining 4 are pointing at you.

  • Don't be so negative, greenly. We did it. The worst is behind us. People can look at themselves and value what they see. No more of controlling people by fear of "Them." Let that way of thinking die and rot. Let's just enjoy the rich fabric of humanity and art and think of ways to bring us all together. Music helps there, doesn't it?

  • I made a comment on this video 8 months ago and now look at America and the economy. Well, not to talk politics but this is good music fun and I love to shake and dance to it! I love Ethiopia and America, this song makes you want to just love everybody LOL!

  • I have always found that in times of crisis, the arts can be an important factor in the recovery process, whether music, film, painting or whatever. Maybe, as the crisis of the late 1960s brought some Americans a better appreciation of Asian culture, maybe African culture will have a greater influence in the next few years. I have always found watching music videos, especially from other cultures a good way to reset myself when the poetry does not flow. Maybe it works for countries.

  • My kind of song. Just goes to show that the most powerful musical instrument in the world is the DRUM MACHINE. But always these cheesy shot-on-video clips instead of film! Yes, I know Ethiopia's dirt-poor, but there has to be a 16-millimeter Arriflex or Panavision camera sitting somewhere in that country of 60 million people gathering dust! Would it hurt to make an animated video, à la Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer," once in a while? Peace.

  • Beautiful music and dance. God Bless.
