very funny, just glad that the pastor didn't get electrocuted with the mike so close to the tub...when I was baptized I could have easily fallen as well as the steps into the pool are very steep, your nervous and I feel for the little boy so I'm glad that all made him, including the pastor to feel ok....what a great start to a testimony!!!!

Jesus must have laughed sometimes: crowds watching him call a short man down out of a tree; speaking the words: "Who touched me?" and smiling away the fear from the terror stricken woman; yelling and tearing around overturning tables in front of the temple; coaxing people to uncover their food stash and see them SHARE it with strangers; having a sweetie off the street massage his feet with oil while he was eating with friends; hiding in a friend's house and the ceiling opens up above him!

And its true regardless of what religion you are..your church gatherings do need that everyday humor from time to time instead of the so serious all the time because there certainly a time to laugh !

I think that this boy was doing as Jesus instructed... In order to enter into heaven you need to have the heart of a child. Not a direct quote I know, but I believe that Jesus was right there beside this young man laughing with glee. Not only because he jumped into the baptismal, but that he had given his life to Christ! Good for him and the church. We need more laughter in the church, it does not have to be so solemn and sad.I know that

i dont see how someone could see this as sickening.... yes it is a "sacred" ceremony.. but dont forget the true meaning behind baptism... the boy is publicly accepting god and he is joyful and he has a sense of humor and so does god.. and i know god is as happy as this kid is.

This is so sad. This is just wrong. I can understand why the minister did what he did, but I see absolutely no Christian behavior here, no desire to be sacred, no respect. The boy's behavior was only slightly more shameful than the congregation's. There is something wrong with that church.

Oh, this was so much fun to watch! It would have been wonderful to have been there! Church being fun is the best!! Jesus must have had the most fun calling a short man down out of a tree; watching his accusers squirm when he told tales showing that using common sense could be more loving than worshipping a law!
