I did something similar once, with an 8 cell battery pack from my old broken toy RC car. It worked and it went fast. However, it was an old battery pack so I don't know how much current and voltage it still gave...

So, I do have positive input for you, but I still don't recommend it.

I can also tell you I drove a few times with a good, new self-made 7 cell pack (8.4V), which also worked, but just to be safe I removed one. The motors are rated 7.2V and a well charged 8 cell pack gives over 10V...

A TT-01 is made by Tamiya. TT-01 is the name of the chassis. Yokomo is another brand and their chassis is called MR-4TC

1. I bought some drift tyres and it told me to kinda heat it, I did, but then I still can't fit the tyres to the rims. Please Help.

2. Do I have to remove everything again to fit the aluminum drive shaft?
