No my great granddad lived well into his 80s and he had smoke cigarettes all of his life. Even when they didnt have filters. And he died of heart troubles. Only about 20% of tobacco smokers get lung cancer. I hope weed doesn't cause cancer, and so far there is SOME evidence to suggest that it doesnt. But you shouldn't be naive about it. The evidence could be erroneous. Eg. They still cant conclude whether salt is good or bad for you to this day. Evidence for and against exists.

The oldest man in the world (cant remember which year) was 115, smoked cigs all his life too. I read 20% of smokers get lung cancer. There are also studies that prove that THC has an anti-carcinogenic effect and that THC helps kill cancer cells. Also, these studies done on the lungs were primarily done with joint smokers, meaning that if you vape it or use a bong/water pipe, there is even less damage done

Thats not to say its good for your lungs (it isnt) but frankly your probably inhaling more benzene chemicals when out and about driving your car. Cancer is genetic entropy. If heart disease don't get you, eventually cancer will (hurry up and cure it science!)

As far as I am aware, there is no conclusive evidence to convincingly say that it does not cause cancer (the one study). I would assume that there is some degree of radiation in weed smoke, as it is recommended we avoid any type of smoke, such as barbecues and cigs. And radiation is the biggest concern to cancer. I hope that it doesnt cause it, but im just being realistic.
