@dmuscadi In the video the curl pattern before is shown (girl with cape before & blue top after). My personal curl pattern starts wavy then gets really curly as the hair grows. I was using relaxer before Coppola Keratin Treatment. My curl is a bit smoother when I air dry the hair, but it will still go afro big as the day wears on--and yes I do wear my hair style this way sometimes. Other times I like a smooth blow dry/silk out.
@dmuscadi I received the Copolla treatment. My hair still had a curl a pattern after treatment but was softer and less kinky. I have 4c hair. I noticed that when I sweat from exercise or this crazy 100 degree weather it "puffs" out. Mainly the ends curl up. I usually blow dry it after working out to get rid of the moisture, but it is still puffy. I have avoided the flat iron because I am afraid of damage. Should my hair maintain a curl pattern? Or did my stlyist do something incorrectly? Thanks.
The treatment will smooth and loosen your curl pattern; however, it WILL NOT straighten. A blow dry and ceramic iron silk out is needed to straighten the hair after the Coppola Keratin Treatment. What's the difference? The hair really resists humidity-no frizz, blow dries in a fraction of the time, incredible shine, strengthens with keratin protein. Coppola trains and certifies stylists. Select a stylist who has been certified and is keeping up with product knowledge. Call us at 770-622-7720
@salonbaptiste hi, her hair is beautiful. I have thick tightly coiled curls and i was wondering after using this do you have to blow out and straiten your hair? I just want the treatment for its healthy hair benefits. How much will it change your curl pattern and will the hair revert back to its normal texture after washing? lol i know so many questions.
@sexiite1 We are doing this treatment over relaxed hair without damage. I prefer not relaxing once a client decides to go with Keratin Smoothing. I recommend a face 2 face consultation with a certified stylist.
@TheKennesha After Keratin Treatment the hair resists humidity better than a relaxer. Noticabily much less swell than with relaxer...especially when compared to calcium relaxer (activator mixed with cream).
@marsimone1 when the hair is wet/shampooed you can still see a wave pattern. once it is blow dryed and smoothed with a ceramic iron it will stay straight until it is shampooed again. The model here went 5 months before retouch. Retouch varies with each client (3-5 months). Natural AA clients tend to go longer because they are use to working with curly hair. Relaxed clients may need a retouch more frequently because they are use to really straight.
Wow! Fantastic results - you're hair looks lovely. My hair type is 4c/b. I'm currently stretching for as long as I can (baseline target 16 weeks). All going well I'll transition. Are you planning to post YouTube videos? Can you share your hair type, regimen, products and hair journey (were you relaxed before?). ;-)
