  • why dont' we just sterilize every child on the planet under the age of 10.

  • all haters are fuckin losers

  • Everyone seems to realize how overpopulated we are, so who is going to be the first to kill themselves?

  • @Mathaius833 It would be nice if they would at least legalize euthanasia! Even better of they would change the delivery method to an opiate like heroin.

  • I think population estimates for 2050 are around 9-9.5 billion

  • WOW...very good for 9th grade....look up Derrick Jensen

  • Was this for school?

  • all fuckers that disliked this video are shitheads,

  • every single day more than one species of aquatic life goes extinct from our polluted oceans.i think it is to late for change

  • billions will have to die if mankind is to continue to thrive on this rock for much longer

  • @firedup420 You're first to go.

  • @MadeInOregon27 no i dont think so,i know how to supply my family with food and water without ever going to a store, you see im not a city person,i dont have to go to the grocery store for food,i am within walking distance to anything i need. i have a fridge full of fish i caught, and also some deer,i have a well out back, and plenty of guns, ammo, and family to defend it all if it comes down to that.SO I THINK YOU WILL BE THE FIRST TO PERISH

  • @firedup420 @firedup420 I'm from Portland OR, it's nothing but rivers mountains animals and trees here... And we all know the outdoors better than you do. I could give a FUCK about where you're from. YOU'RE FIRST TO GO.

  • @MadeInOregon27 yeah you dont know shit, please dont reply

  • @firedup420 I'll reply anytime/anywhere I want... Ponder on that scum-bucket.

  • trentontimothyogden.wordpress(dot)com/2012/01/08/an-introduction-to-the-philosophies-of-trenton-t-ogden/

Overpopulation touched upon in the above blog ^

  • This is an issue, mired in complexity. The premise is simple, the answer is simple, the reality is as complex as any problem there is. To open up the doors to real solutions, we first must find a morally acceptable means by which our effect upon our planet is reduced.

  • yes, great idea. lets stop using fossil fuels and let many people go without jobs, crush economies, and save the wildlife by blotting out the sun with solar panels.

  • RECYCLE!!!

  • stop f****** each other

  • @hoboKelly420 Don't stop fucking, do an anal sex. Simple.

  • It's become very apparent in recent years that people are waking up to the reality of our modern world, that people in the Western cultures have embraced, but at what cost to the natural world, and also how long do you think this can go on, if everyone on planet Earth lived like a typical American we would need at least 8 planets just to survive! I feel everyone is aspiring to this unsustainable madness! when the world's resources have been completely depleted and every creature dead( wake-up)

  • I'm drunk and I'm incredibly happy that I have no children . there is now more food for you. there is now less pollution. there are now more job openings, there is now more room in the schools. . .because I chose not to have kids.. ; you're welcome.. . have fun.

  • if you voted this video down and you are 30+ just piss off as no one wants to know your "opinion"

  • @shr4n My problem is that all these "projects" that people do for science, environmental studies and social studies just consists of the exact same left wing information that the Party gives them in school. There's no opinion, predictions, or creative solutions, just a bunch of acknowledgements of the repetitive information that their fed. The result: All the projects and presentations that are handed in and presented push the exact same anti business agenda.

  • @MIKON8ERISBACK Soon there will be no business agenda for normal people only for the rich and fat, and hey look around it already is happening, either u r a slave to the elite or you are broke. there is no such thing as infinite growth. greetings from germany

  • @MIKON8ERISBACK Business today is the pursuit of profit, which also does not provide any solution to the problems we face. Profit and sustainable solutions are fundamentally opposed. So in order to achieve sustainability, business would need to concern itself with total well being rather than profit. I ask you this, what good does business play in the total well being of the planet? What role does it play but to ultimately satisfy ego? What solutions does profit have to offer?

  • What song is this?

  • Increase access to education, family planning, contraception to women in developing countries. Studies have shown that as much as 1/4th of all births in developing countries are unplanned or unwanted pregnancies, by increasing global access birth rates would definitely decline.

Educated women have less children, and have them later in life, are able to care for them better, and are more likely to use contraception when they feel it is not the time to have children.

  • Surely the number of world's population has gone OVER the reasonable limit. and what is the reasonable limit? u tell me. i 'd say about 1 billion. But which populations are we talking about, the big cities populations or the populations of the areas between the big cities? becuz as time goes by, more peoples are moving to their nearest big cities. so the concentration of huge numbers of peoples in the big cities is the dangerous factor.if we spread around on earth, our survival is in less danger.

  • :liveonthisplanet:

  • Great video. This is what I have been looking for months, someone who shares these ideas with me. To me, the answer is population control. People should not have more children than the replacement rate (which is two [2] children). Any more than that should be fined extremely high. But at the point where we've got to, we would need to have only one (1) child per family for generations to lower the population and then maintain it steady.

  • eh the earth is ready for at least 50 billion

  • Thank you for your thoughtful video. . . We need to do more than recycle things. . We need to think about the long term sustainability of our planet.

  • even if the world does overpopulate and catastrophe arises we would lose some of the population and we would have a fresh start

  • good video

  • regarding water: look up desalinization.

  • thats right, we need more local sustainable farms, and we need to stop all the shipping over great distances of food.

  • im sorry to say, but we need another NON-nuclear war to lower the population.

  • there are 7 billion people in the world 7 billion people shoulder to shoulder would only take up the city of los angolus its not space we need its balance

  • lets start using condoms and we dont need to worry about next generation.

  • @PanORotta - I f we start using condoms there won't be another generation, condoms stop the flow

of sperm to fertilize the egg to produce a new life, human growth is natural, let it grow!!

  • @limoboss6242

next generation can then blame you when they are living in the overpolluted future.

  • @PanORotta Like I said Human growth is natural, even if the population swells

to enormous numbers it is natural growth you can't stop.Checks and balance system

will control the population naturally, however that may be, so let it grow freely naturally!!

  • @limoboss6242 and as we grow in our knowledge and learn how ways to preserve food longer(example: the invention of ziplock bags, the new device that sucks all the air out of the bag(making it last for a very long time, years)),then we won't have food shortages.we will probly never have to throw away left overs in the future for going bad,and when we learn to spread the resource in the future, i think we could support atleast 12 billion people or more in the future

  • @PanORotta Key word- natural, condoms are not natural, if men were intended to wear

condoms they would be attached to our penis's!!

  • What is anyone doing beside the Government under the entity called freemasonry actually depopulating the world as this kid talk on this video.

  • What is energy? Every living thing has a form of energy inside them..fact

  • and it all began from shem ham and japhet the three great ancestors of the world

  • so we all should be bunch of fags to solve the problem?

  • Genius

  • I suggest we bio engeneer a deadly virus with a very long incubation time and which once the infected get in the last stage, it should kill 90% of all people, allowing only the healthy people survice. After this plague has sweped the earth, we are left with healthy people and can rebuild society

  • What are these songs? I think one of them is by switchfoot, but idk the name. please?

  • The population should balance out to be around 9-12 billion

  • Zack attack is right global warming is caused by solar cycles and it's a scam (pollution) for a sellect few to get rich

  • @HarryTruthman *sarcastic laugh* oh you witty motherfucker you.

  • @ZackAttack261 Oh yeah? a billion scientists agree that all cheese comes from the moon... go look it up! Thats not the way citing information works. I call bullshit and all you say is go look it up? that sound like a convincing argument to you? Kids these days.

  • @ZackAttack261Simply asserting something without citing a reference or providing evidence makes for a piss poor argument.

  • Please no nuclear energy!!! Look what happens when the `rest risk ``takes place.. for ex. Russia , Japan..... and where do you want to store all those stabs.......

  • this is all china's and india's fault -__-

  • @tiagandremo wait a minute China has insanely strict laws that say that every couple is allowed only one child so theyre trying to slow this down ALOT

India yes you can blame cuz they have like 12-20 kids each those multiplying bastards,

  • @Thenuttyboy24 i see you point about china but they are still responsible for over 1 billion people, and india i just messed up, and one thing i find interesting its how only the 3rd world countries with no living conditions AT ALL are over populated

  • @tiagandremo And you see even If we stop all the people from reproduction in our country (India), we will be still hurt. Don't know really where this is going to end...

  • This is RIDICULOUS!!! It's the same ol' tired 200 year old idea that was proved WRONG over and over. Yes they've been feedin' us this crap for a long time. It's the same as the "eugenics program" started by M. Sanger. Who's to say whos "unfit"? Well, lets see, they targeted the African American community until they acheived civil rights in >1964!!< They are still targeted for the overwhelmingly high % amont of abortions EACH YEAR. (as compared to other "minorities") Save the earth, not people.

  • who's clearlyxxopaque anyways? Al Gore's demented sidekick?

  • India sucks. China must kill India.

  • china is a country who destroying earth..

  • You lot are retarded, im going Kfc. Peaaccee!

  • Stop having kids you fucking whores, sluts, prostitutes, studs, fucking man whores!

  • @Ruba2u - Such anger you have, let the population grow, welcome the babies born everyday!!

  • Only 1 solution - NO KIDS- maybe only one. Population have to go down or we will die in own SHITS.

  • This is a time for humans to act as one and unite to solve a global catastrophe, the ignorant, uneducated, zenophobic, trashy, racist people who blame foreigners can stfu.

  • @CitizenSlyder Of course not. It will be done by force. Intraspecific competition for resources is natural and Darwin's struggle for existence is a struggle for reproduction. You should not expect altruism or " humans to act as one and unite" for basically two reasons:

(1)There is no evidence that natural selection occur at the Species Level.

(2)Strong altruism is not an evolutionarily stable strategy (Maynard Smith and Price 1973; Ben Cooper and Chris Wallace 2001).

  • @CitizenSlyder Fuck you dumbass

  • hey hey! Have you considered intellectus list building (just google it)? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my sister got crazy amounts of buying subscribers added to their list.

  • Use protection, use wind power.

  • And White technology and White medicine has made it all possible. We have drastically lowered the rate of death in infants. And what do we have for it? A world in cultural decay. Europe and the West R being buried in primitive, uneducated, superstition people who do not share our democratic and liberal culturtal values. On most of these hungry mouths, freedom is wasted. ISLAM will bury us all. Life is not a "right", but the property of the healthy. It is time for a weeding out of the unfit.

  • @Avalon400 your radical racism undermines your point: you shouldn't be allowed a voice

  • @clearlyxxopaque if thats all you got out of this video you... FAIL!

  • @Avalon400 couldn't agree more with you.

  • @Avalon400 I like the way you think. Developed countries need to actively exterminate people in undeveloped countries because they are consuming the natural resources.

  • @Avalon400 How are you even alive?

  • @Avalon400 yep liberalism is great enemy of a civilized man .

  • @Avalon400

A white guy came up with Islam, dipshit.

  • I bet any money tht this video was made with information from the movie the 11th hour, same exact points , same use of data. lol

  • @xCoeS first of all, 11th hour talks about climate change, not the overshoot of carrying capacity, and secondly: there are no points in this video, these are absolutely obvious concepts that require no research. These are things a grade 9 three years ago new off the top of their head . . .

  • Whats the *ucking song??

  • YOU DON'T NEED THE MUSIC BEHIND THIS

  • @trevgk Wow, if only I'd known that 3 years ago and cared

  • all very true. humans don't give a damn until they have no other choice than to give a damn.Maybe not in our lifetime but shortly after there will come some desperate times. nuclear is also NOT the way to go. spent rods of uranium have a half life of 125 years of lethality, under ground disposal is VERY limited. The crossroads are HERE. Sit back watch and enjoy the mistakes of humanity

  • @morgolvale you know surprisingly little about nuclear reactor technology to by making these claims . . .

  • Use your fucking Condoms

  • 'We don't need more space, we need more balance'

  • doesnt nuclear powerplants damage the ozone layer?

  • @Zentrix97 no they does not

  • Population weighs down Pakistan

Oct-25-2011--With four million births per year, Pakistan is poised to become the world's fourth most populous nation in just under 40 years.

With the exploding population come questions about religion, culture and where the two intersect. Conservative religious leaders equate "family planning" with murder, but maternal-health activists say the claims of religious conservatives serve a cultural and political goal.

    INFO-AWARENESS - VIKEN Z KOKOZIAN

  • My answer is to start sterilizing third world countries who produce massive amounts of people yet live in complete poverty. And in developing nations where population decline is taking effect, programs need to be put in place to give incentives to having more children. The more children you have, the more tax breaks you receive for example.

  • Thanks to this 9th grade science class, I have some increased hope for the future. This future obviously lies with our children, who hopefully will be better stewards of the earth than their parents and earlier generations have been. Over 30% of the earths renewable natural resources have been consumed in the past 20 years. At this rate, the earth is about to become another Easter Island example of natural resource depletion.

  • this is stupid

i aint adicted to fossile fuel

if i could i would use water to fill up my car

  • @Karma682 I guess you don't brush your teeth

  • @Karma682 metaphor dude, corporations are addicted to the monetary gains of marketing oil, not you personally

  • These people will never listen anyways...

  • Way to go. Nice to see the mass dissinformation war carried out by the overlords of the planet has reached the school rooms to teach them the wrong facts.

Who do you think is behind bankrolling wars, big business and fossil fuels. Learn to reseach beyone you given reading list and realise the self imposed limitations put on you by your teachers.

  • @Paultootall1971

this video is from 2008 . . . who are you talking to, go home

  • @clearlyxxopaque you obviously, pay attention and learn something, this is disinormation on the web, as usual I suppose, trolls like you will come out hehe.

  • @clearlyxxopaque Your videos are overpopulating the youtube servers. The same way society is drowning in a sea of ignorance.

You're a waste of space on the hard drive of society, and it's time to cancel your account...

  • @phorse but I use it to favourite videos . . .

  • @clearlyxxopaque Just going to say this, but you mention in the beginning we have "surpassed the earth's carrying capacity". Actually, if seven billion people were to stand shoulder to shoulder, we would only cover up the state of Los Angelos.

  • @emosasukeCS2 hilarious... "Los Angelos" los Angeles btw is a city, just saying

  • @PaperLanterns95 Hilarious? It's a fact.

I know I spelled Los Angeles wrong. I didn't care enough to go back and change it.

  • @emosasukeCS2 don't think you know what carrying capacity means: regardless of whether we have actually surpassed it for sustainable occupation of the planet, it is defined as population a given system can support with its available resources. It is not just the area in which you stand, but, by all means, if you have a way to provide resources for a human from birth to death on one foot^2 piece of land, that would be a wonderful thing to share . . .

  • @clearlyxxopaque No, no, I understand the "carrying capacity" part. I'm just saying it's not like we're going to burst off of the Earth. Other wordings could've been used.

Technically, one human being could be in one spot for their whole life provided that some other human(s) were to provide them with resources needed for living.

  • @emosasukeCS2 Ok, awesome, now do you understand that resources take up land as well, overpopulation is not the physical occupation of space, it is the burden we place on the environment: the space you take up includes the land for the farming of your food and the production of your energy, jesus christ everyone here is absolutely retarded

  • @clearlyxxopaque I understand all of this. I'm just saying you could have worded it better. Besides, I even agree with some of this stuff. Why we haven't created nuclear energy, is beyond me. We have the capability to do it, we have the people to do it, no one seems to want to.

And I appreciate the Coldplay in the end.

  • @Paultootall1971 the batican that what rules the earth not USA ...

  • I don't think overpopulation is the problem. We could fit the entire human population in Texas if we wished- the problem is rather that we aren't using the resources this planet has in a sustainable way.

  • funny that he lists nuclear energy as renewable. he also shows mercury containing CFL bulb - sure it might save some kilowatts but contaminate your ground water and poison people and environment. oh and paaaalease stop talking about the global warming... um, sorry, climate change already! the truth is we are being manipulated and socially engineered. we're being turned into cattle

  • @indaego yes, i did say nuclear energy was renewable (breeder reactors), and yes, you're right, mercury poisoning is one of the greatest causes of death in north america, a truly serious issue . . .

  • The global fertility rate is already dropping drastically. What we have to control now is our desire to consume what we do not need. Keep in mind that it is not necessarily the most populated places that cause the most environmental damage. The USA has only 300 million people, or 4% of the global population, yet it is the greatest pollution generator. Have fewer children and change your shopping habits.

  • Fatalistic as it sounds, earth is a lost cause. We've been carrying all our eggs in one basket for far too long, it's time too think about setting up space-bound colonies.

  • @thstratton Terraform Mars.

  • Seems that every soon there will be a ice age or the world will be under water lol, have to live on boats lol, obv the human race will die out soon

  • people who can't support children shouldn't have them.

  • @wonderinggrizzly But for them doesn`t matter to say that...so 2 (maximum) child policy should be implemented in the world. Not by abortion or killing child but by vasectomy in the same time you give birth to your second child ! Everything needs planning, Human population growth is not different than anything !

  • speak for yourselves ,this video is not true in many points , the clothes part is a lie because many in this world dont get to change them as often , that river of dead fish was caused not by humans but by natural disaster like after the tsunami in japan , why there is a shortage of food ? the americans and some europeans are eating too much .. so many fat people on one land mass is evidence ,, the agricultural lie , your gov. paid your farmers not to grow

  • @wikiwaky you, my retarded co-citizen, are so dumb that I would like to kill myself, and am only not doing so because it might make you happy

  • @clearlyxxopaque go right ahead i dont think ill miss you , wats your point anyways?

  • Thickened the ozone layer, that is a good thing right?

  • NUCLEAR POWER, NOOOOOOOOOO!!! Renewable or not it'll destroy the planet faster than COAL BURNING! Remember the meltdowns? That killed thousands!!!

  • Dude, U know my gaography teacher in school showed this to the class andwe had to learn from it!

  • Aw, that was very creative. Thank you for making that video :)

  • Eugentics LOL

  • you did them so well you missed the UN Agenda 21 don't you ? africa is starving because WE make them starve because of the over population myth, china ( sorry, no, not japan) was the first to implement one child policy to follow it, every couple having only 1 children, half the population disapear every generation. this is not to save the earth, this is eugenics and world depopulation to the benefit of the elites.

  • be like spaniards pls 1,2 sons average

    europeans 1,38

    thanks

  • overpopulation the main cause for human influenced climate change exceleration.

there's only so many humans this beautiful plant can sustain peacefully after that people quarrel over land and water. When there's an influx of food/water animals will flourish when that influx dissipates animals will die. be the solution no longer the problem

    google--- thecircleforhumanity . net

other helpful site TheyFly . com

  • @flyandbee123 yeah that's must be why they push biofuel who push up the price of every crops in the world and get their dirty hands on water cleaning plant all over the world, they already got started telling you fresh water was precious and stuff. guess what, your precious clean drinking water has been pissed by thousand of dinosaurs and cave men, being cleaned up by nature each and everytime before they put it in your Bisphenol A laced plastic bottle ;) they make everything scare to control us

  • @flyandbee123 and ohh yeah they love the little animals so much, so much in fact they cross species together to make better version of them, like GMO salmons with insect genes, so what if they extinct the natural one in less than 40 years, and who care if those kind of chimera could create unknown super virus like airborn ebola, or if every GMO in existance is know to reduce your fertility, wish dropped 87% in the northern hemisphere already. but heh, we're too many anyway isn't it ? ;)

  • @flyandbee123 billions spent on wars could help provide the resources humans really need for survival this earth has enough room for 20 billion people thats the facts.

  • @wikiwaky True massive amounts of money are spent on things the human race does not need or want like wars. Question, when we get to 20 billion will we decide then, that is enough people for earth and if not what number is enough for earth. Thank you for your reply Salome.

  • @flyandbee123 nature will decide when we are too much it has its own control mechanisms no needs for humans to interfere .. and yes the earth can support 20 billion and more , the scriptures mention giants in the earth in times past, where are they now ..... when will humans turn their weapons of war into agricultural machines, and turn barren desert lands into flourishing oasis

  • @wikiwaky nature is already starting to do that with climate change being speedup by human greed for earths oil, coal, farming land by deforestation, loss of fertile arable ground, etc. see the correlation , put (Sir David Attenborough: The Truth About Climate Change) into the youtube search bar to see it explained. The giants became infertile see futureofmankind website and put giants into search bar on main page. As for scriptures i know longer read them, they are not the truth as it was.

  • Overpopulation is a myth. Already the western society is decreasing in population and must "import" ppl from other parts from the world to sustain their growth. Furthermore, scientists and even UN can't see any ever increasing populus in the future, it will proly level out in the next 40-50 years and the "problem" feeding us all is all political and logistic. There is plenty of food to go around.

  • i suggest every overpopulation beleiver to shot themself in the head right now.

the west couples don't even have 2 kids on average, meaning we lose close to half our population each generation, meaning fewer can pay for the retirement of their parents and it will only end up with our civilisation dieing.

they're saying the world is overpopulated, yet the fortune of the elites is beyond imagination, they got private islands ffs ! those people make me want to throw up !!!

  • @slckb0y why do people keep replying? just chill, stop making stupid assumptions, and google earth doesn't prove nothing. Yes some places do have space but others don't. it's sad that you went to find my comment.

  • @psychodrumplayer14 i'll keep replying as long as people will keep on posting bullshit, so 80% of earth is still free but yet it doesn't proove earth is far from over populated ... heeeeellooooooooooo ?

the only thing sad is the fact you had a retarded teacher not even able to verify what he was talking about before to feed you bullshit propaganda. they're so retarded now they don't even remember carbon is the base of every life form on earth and part of the cycle of life just as oxygen...

  • @slckb0y look you're dumb you don't know anything about how the world works. If you keep replying it's obvious you have no life. You're just a dumb European who wishes he could live in the west. Luckly for me i live in cleanest country in the world CANADA! 80 percent of the world isn't free dumbass thats just crazy. We don't live in the 16th century no more. You're blocked because I hate dealing with closed minded freaks like you.

  • @psychodrumplayer14 canada is not clean.

  • @eal1985 I know we are not the cleanest but were ranked 12th in the world. Thats pretty damn good. Some other articles say we are 3rd but I doubt it.

  • @slckb0y if you don't think the world is overpopulated then why are people starving in africa? Why does China and Japan need to control the amount of children born? I did my research you haven't.
