As a skilled aerobatic pilot he was certainly not in barf mode as suggested - and as for teh vid - maybe it;s because I fly too - but I think it fits gloriously with the whole swoopyness of the sound., Can never listen to teh track without thinking of flying

Gary: "It's a metaphor"

Pros: "For what??"

I couldn't agree more-this is the kinda video that makes you wanna cry from poorness. That look was not one of my faves for him either. I wish I could have redone his bad vids-they'd be much tighter to match good songs like this one! :)

I like his idea, but it just looks tacky with him in the cockpit in the outfit; too much like White Boys And Heroes too, which is a cool video, but this is just too much with little pay-off.

@KingOfUm there is nothing cool about the wb&h video. he looks like a complete idiot. HE ALWAYS DOES. love the guy's music, but his image always sucked. at least this one doesn't feature 'gary laughing and having a good time like regular humans do.'

I think the only music videos of his that aren't really terrible are Metal and Pure; Metal, because he's mostly just standing around, gives a cool atmosphere I think without being pretentious; and then Pure, because it's live footage (I think?) and so there isn't a lot of distracting what-nots and how-nows. But the one with him and Sharpe is just terrible.

@jrmetmoi I like it too with the exception of the tambourine, both in the song and video, I always thought it clashed horrible (don't think it sounds great either, I'd prefer banging on a wind chime).

Gary isn't actually flying the T-Bird (T-33 Trainer) , its being flown by Capt "Dizzy" Adicot, It wasn't till later that Gary had the ratings to fly anything close to this.Great Vid all the same, lyrics fit flying really well.
