There's a huge difference. Unfortunately, there are also some huge similarities, starting with certitude. Arianna Huffington speaks with such a smug certitude, that frankly I find it a bit disconcerting(South Park does too). Keynesian Economics, race egalitarianism, and the obvious evil of all right wingers are treated as certain truths by the left. Yet it is my deepest conviction that certain ideologies on the left also, insofar as they become hardened and arrogant, do lead to equal atrocities.

The reason Billo has not been fired yet is because he works for the ever-so infamous Rupert Murdoch. First of all, how Murdoch and Ted Turner have been able to monopolize the media industry, I will never know. These two conservative blowhards own virtually every major newsway in the country. I agree with all of this, I just have one interesting point to make: Bill O'Reilly is allowed to say this shit, because he actually gets monstrous ratings. I don't like it, or agree with it, but it's true. Also, Rupert Murdoch has officially endorsed Hillary for Dem. nominee and President, so the plot is a little thicker than what it seems on the surface. More evidence that people like O'reilly just make for stupid distractions for people. He never addresses real issues, like monetary policy.

However cathartic seeing O'Reilly silenced by a brick to the mouth might be, reasonable people oughtn't look to censorship as a solution to organized misinformation. Intelligent, alternative discourse is the answer. It would work a lot faster if there were more room on the bully pulpit though.
