I adore this singer! Something about the tone reminds me of sunshine, even in the lowest range. There's just no vehemence in it at all. Pure, open, and somehow very American in the best way.

Lovely job, as usual, with one of her favorites. Funny that the overall height of her gestures circulates more around her chest and neck than normal; I think maybe she's showing off that nice manicure! (wink,wink)

Marilyn Horne è stata la più grande vocalista del XX secolo. Con la sua voce faceva quello che voleva. Il suo virtuosismo era trascendentale, e la sua voce, ricca di armonici, era di un timbro bellissimo. Di questo brano dal Tancredi la Horne dà l'interpretazione definitiva. Grazie di cuore a vaimusic.
