I absolutely loved this film! I felt like everyone in the story was someone I had met at some time in my life. I didn't realize how rare it was to feel that a film was made by queers for queers until I saw this at the Austin Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival in 2009. I'm pretty sure I made a giddy, goofy fool of myself praising Jason Bushman after the screening, but this film actually made me feel high after I saw it. It's so refreshing to see us on screen. The real us.
Don't talk shit about this movie! Not getting paid to write this just fel in love with it! It is fiction and loved the fact that the end of the movie is just an unkown possiblitie... Not a typical Cinderella movie! Smart, delicate, smooth, easy, loving.... Just great!
I've seen plenty of gay movies and this one is just great! The humor is awesome! The french guy is adorable! I just watch movies, not a director, art student bla bla bla This movie really touched me! Well done! I recomend to anyone who is really looking to have a good time watching it! Be positive people! Crictics out there go for a hike or make your own movie :)
Let's discuss this film, because I just seen this film tonight and I didn't think it was good at all. Sure it had its moments but it left me hanging in the end. I am a gay film student, a bit older and I felt that there was not enough conflict. Why would he go back to his ex's apt after his ex had already moved on? Even with a new bf, mind you?!! Why wasn't the unsatisfied love between Jerome and Chad Allen's character further developed ?
I enjoyed the nudity and the comedy but it failed to expand on the "no place like home" message which I interpretted as the "love" with the characters that he had met through his travels; but the director/screenwriter failed to show us how Jerome would achieve this and instead had him go back to his whore twink ex apt, just to be turned down I assume?
Very sad and unsatisfying for the viewer. I feel there is a lot more to gay men than pill popping trannies, men that go looking for sex in the bars(during the day) and at sexclubs. I appreciate the fact that the director was trying to show us a tangible world, but why couldn't he have given the characters what they needed from each other if he went through all the trouble to write and direct this?

This is one of the best independet movies I've seen in a LONG while.
Wonderful cast - better than many in those movies with billion dollar budgets.
