LOL It's episode 24 from season 2 and if I remember it correctly what happened was that Meredith was struggling with her mother being alone in a nursing home while she watched an elderly woman die in peace surrounded by family and friends. After that she ran into the closet and cried and Derek came in to comfort her as she cried out: "I don't want my mother to die alone".
