  • all chinese speaky english here or there are white people here talking about chinese history

  • Comment removed

  • wondeful cut, it was hilarious all the way through... :D lol

  • name of the song

  • Do you all know what is the true meaning behind the story of Shu and its many heroes... story of how the Shu-Han state embarked on an impossible quest to revive the Han dynasty and the house of Liu... the meaning is... WE NEVER GIVE UP ON OURSELVES OR WHAT WE STAND FOR

  • @shw1ft Shu stood for... I wanna be ruler not you.

  • Shima Zhao said ," With Liu Chan is the King, even Zhuge Liang resurrect cant help the Shu,let alone Jiang Wei."

  • So sad you can't understand, the MV is so funny XD, I hope you know little chinese ~

This video says Zhuge Liang's son(Zhuge Zhan) hate Jiang Wei because Zhuge Liang give Jiang Wei too much love, even more than Zhuge Liang's son. Zhuge Zhan is Jealous . Then Zhuge Liang says how he love Jiang Wei . Finally when Jiang Wei's mother appear at 2:02, subtitle tells us in fact Jiang Wei is Zhuge Liang's Illegitimate child.(Just kidding, not in history) . in the end Zhuge Zhan says he still love dad.

  • stupid subtitles

  • the two people who died near the stone is Zhuge Zhan and his son Zhuge Shang! He's not Jiang Wei!

  • what's the name of the actor that played this young version of jiang wei?

  • To Jiang Wei, one of the most courageous, foolish, noble, inept, virtuous and callous heroes of China.

  • Oh, this is sooooo funny...cannot stop laughing...

  • In this clip it wasn't Jiang Wei who committed suicide, that was Zhuge somethingorother (Zhuge Liang's son) who slit his throat rather than be captured. The grandson already lie dead on the rock). Jiang Wei also committed suicide in the TV series but not by slashing his throat. His death scene was much more dramatic.

  • If Wu would've attack Wu Zhang Plains on Shu's request, Wei would've been destroyed. And Wu could've taken out Shu. Then, the land would've known peace about 10-25 years earlier. Then, Jin couldn't have destroyed China's long hoped for peace.

  • @MichaelRyanPleaseTV

That's a very flawed analysis if you're talking about history. (If you're talking about novel/romantic traditions, yeah maybe).

After 219 AD Wu and Shu, even combined, couldn't touch Wei. None of their many many offensives even broke through the first line of defense of Wei.

Zhuge Liang: FIVE northern campaigns later; net gains? TWO commanderies. And their ally Meng Da lost Shang Yong.

Jiang Wei: NINE northern campaigns later, net gains? NOT ONE TOWN

  • @crazedmongoose2003 Did Ma Dai chop off Wei Yan's head?

  • @MichaelRyanPleaseTV (cont).

And this was during in total like 21 years (6 years of Zhuge Liang, 15 years or so for Jiang Wei). To take two border commanderies.

How long did it take Deng Ai and Zhong Hui to conquer the entirety of Shu?

    2 months.

  • @crazedmongoose2003 hey man, Zhuge liang and Jiang wei did everything with their power and lifetime to defeat wei.. it wasn't their fault.. it just wasnt meant to be.. if you want somebody to blame.. blame Lui Bei's son..

  • @shw1ft I blame George Bush.

  • Zhu ge liang was the smartest man during that period, why was he liked Jiang Wei rather than his son.

Zhu Ge Zhang should garde the castle, after he defend Deng Zhong.

  • the lyrics, the subtitles are so funny.

  • does anyone know the name of the song

  • r these videos suppose to be copies of the dynasty warriors games?

  • No, in fact, it'd be more accurate if you said dynasty warriors were a copy of these videos.

  • No, Dynasty Warriors was based off from Luo Guanzhong's novel, Three Kingdoms. This was too.

  • the reason they let Cao Cao go is cause.. if they did.. wei would split into many fractions.. and they couldnt have China in that period be bigger a mess then it already was.. plus.. at that time Shu wasnt strong enough to take advantage of a Divide and Conquer scheme

  • I saw ROTK the whole series like 3 times.. I've never heard this song

  • @shw1ft

It's a fan made video. the music is not from rotk.

  • There's a lot of reason that I could say SHU is able to take over China........ but they lacked several things due to honor.......

    1. Liu Bei doesn't attack Liu Biao when Liu Biao was sick....

    2. Cao Cao was released by Guan Yu in HuaRong trail... which spares the tiger's life..

    Shu rocks really

  • Shu is too honorable and can never achieve it's goal. To be able to conquer the land, that nation's leader need to be crafty and sometime evil, have strong generals and strategist. No second chance. The Qin Dynasty rule with perfect cruelness that no one oppose them. The Han Dynasty rule because they were able to reunite a rebellion from different area against the Qin Dynasty. Wei rocks more because they have good generals and strategist. As they said in Wei, "It is written in the Heaven."

  • IMO Liu Bei really messed up when he didn't return the borrowed Jing province to Sun Quan, that prompted Sun Quan to attack Guan Yu while he was trying to attack Cao Cao's territories, as you know Guan Yu was captured by this backstabbing move by Wu, and executed. Then Zhang Fei lost it, mistreated his generals, was betrayed/killed, and the Liu Bei waged a war of revenge which ended in disaster. He should have honored his promise to Sun Quan, it would have been better that way.

  • Liu Bei was confused during Guan Yu's attacks. He was over trying to Conquer Liu Zhang's forces, "Shu".

  • @dealmaker007 There was no promise historically for the Jing province. There was kind of a promise for ONE commandery out of the four Shu had.

Historically aside from Lu Su, the other leaders of Wu, ie. Sun Quan, Lu Meng, Lu Xun, Zhang Zhao, didn't care about Shu or restoration of the Han (mainly because Liu Bei had a claim to lineage but they didn't). They cared for Wu and Wu only. It was in their strategic interest to take Jing and they did. The "borrowing" thing was just justification.

  • @crazedmongoose2003 thanks for the clarification

  • @tr1bes

Shu was just as "evil" and crafty as Wei, Liu Bei particularly so. Wei had a more talented leader and a much greater amount of great generals, though.

  • hahaha,is so funny !

  • great music :D :D :D ra yleob simgeraa es to fu bliad :D

  • Jiang Wei commited sucide after the wei soilders surrounded him. So to respect his pride he didnt want to die from the enemies hands and killed himself!

  • They were on their knees after he committed suicide. He was such a great general. However, it was heaven's will that Shu couldn't win the war

  • @ZastinHuynh93 What? Zhuge Zhang was a mediocre general historically and in romantic traditions Idk where you're getting that from.

Deng Ai and his troops knelt down because they were awed by the incredible sacrifices the Zhuge clan made for the kingdom of Shu. Three generations gave everything they had selflessly for the service of Shu.

  • @crazedmongoose2003 That should read Zhuge Zhan and I apologize. I now realize you're talking about Jiang Wei.

Well, I'd argue against Jiang Wei being a great general as well.

  • @ZastinHuynh93

Actually, no. Jiang Wei's costly advances north was the main reason Shu was weakened. That, and removing the the fortifications at Hanzhong(which were more or less impossible to get past) based on the thought that he would cause a bigger defeat in a full on open battle... despite having lost NINE campaign full of that kind of battle against the very person he knew was leading the enemy. Jiang Wei was a bloody idiot.

  • @ZastinHuynh93

With a better commander in chief, Shu could have defended a lot longer.

Tthey might have fallen to Jin after it took Wu... But even that is up for argument. An alliance with the the many tribes around Shu and in the North, or as well as the Koreans could've fended that off.

At least Zhuge was cost-effective in his campaigns.

  • no that was zhuge zhan, zhuge liang son

  • he was zhuge zhan ,zhuge liang son not jiang wei

  • lol, funny.

  • sorry not the same guy in this clip, the guy who did suicide in this clip is Zhuge Liang's son.

  • Actually Jiangwei did cut his throath(according to the book)but not the guy in the picture.

  • Some of you are mistake, Jiang Wei did not kill himself, He as well as his wife and kids died in battle, due to a failed coup d'état, to restore Shu Han. We know this because he sent letters to Lui Shan explaining this to him. So for the man who claims Jiang Wei to be pitiful, I must say I'm most displeased, for Jiang Wei dualed Zhao Yun and got a draw, Out smarted Zhuge Liang, As well as defeating Two Famous Wei Officers In battle. His Merits are worthy of Our praise.

  • @StudentOfHungGar

Jiang Wei dualed Zhao Yun and got a draw,

Nope. There are only two documented duels of the era. Taishi Ci vs Sun Ce(Draw), and Lü Bu vs Guo Si(Lu Bu won, but didn't manage to kill Guo, who was rescued by his men)

  • @StudentOfHungGar

    "Out smarted Zhuge Liang"

    Never happened.

"As well as defeating Two Famous Wei Officers In battle."

Only Zhong Hui springs to mind.

His Merits are worthy of Our praise.

  • can anybody tell me who is the actor, ruled Jiang wei in this serie? I know that his name is Zhang tian shu.Has he ever acted again after romance of three kingdom?

  • I feel so sorry for him, but he remained loyal (keep in mind hat he was originally a general under Wei!) and did his very best after Zhuge Liang's death and that's what should count.

I really hope that Jiang Wei and Zhuge Liang will see each other again in Heaven... =/

  • I thought that Jiang Wei fought till the last man after Zhuge Liang's death. I never knew that Jiang Wei commited suicide

  • yow he was so desperated.. he already tried his best to be a good succesor of Zhuge Liang..

The one whom should be blamed is Liu Chan. He's an uncharismatic leader which can be described as "fool". In fact, his childhood name is synonym to "fool"

  • Jiang Wei Rocks!

  • Jiang Wei could of lived in obsecurity in the Wei backwater, but came to a life of prominance in the late Shu dynasty, living an even worse life which ended in sucide.

  • 晕,这太搞了,呵呵

  • was that jang wei in 2:07 on the rock?

  • Nope. That was actually Zhuge Liang's son, Zhuge Zhan. The guy with the yellow cape was Zhuge Liang's grandson, Zhuge Shan.

  • nice one, i wish someone could download full episodes of these again :(

  • oh btw, 2 fives from me :) HIGH 5 in return

  • I really like the song in this video, and it was very nicely put together. Like "zhugeliang207" mentioned before me though the clips of the man committing suicide while surrounded by the enemy's soldiers isn't of JiangWei but of ZhuGeLiang's son. JiangWei later did commit suicide as well, near the very end of the tv series, but he did so by a sword through his stomach (ouchie x__X).

  • (Cont'd from my comment above due to word limit)

It's really too bad, the fate of both JiangWei and ZhuGeLiang, I think if they had had a better emperor instead of LiuShan they might have had a better chance at succeeding their quest. Either way though, two amazing men in China's history.

  • I think it's unjust to see Jiang Wei and Zhuge Liang not achieving their goals.

No-one deserves success more than them.

  • tru, hey do u no the name of this song? its mint, makes u wana take my clothes out

  • fyi, the parts where a man is suiciding like in the beginning and around 2:12, thats not Jiang Wei, those are the later generations of Zhuges. Also, in response to the vid info, Zhuge Liang died trying to support the gov't and stupid Liu Shan, and trying to take care of things on the battlefield, repelling Sima Yi. Jiang Wei, even though he's intelligent, is not as good as Zhuge Liang. If Zhuge Liang died trying, no way Jiang Wei's going to last.

  • @zhugeliang207 Also, Liu Shan gave Jiang Wei full support militarily, so he can't be blamed for Jiang Wei being an utter failure.

If anything, Liu Shan surrendering before the crushing power of the Wei army(which even if initially beaten, now could effectively get people to Chengdu since Hanzhong was surrendered to them) was the smartest thing to do.
