The original was written with the intentions for an orchestra to play in the background. Metallica took the idea much later on with the S&M album. No one really talks about that album, but seriously, when do bands ever do something like that? It was amazing.

Great job; however there's no real boundary between classical music and others genres, especially the heavy metal. Considering heavy metal, there are so many talented musicians and virtuosos that really I can't understand why classical teachers don't accept this. I completely agree with kathwoodstock, and I can add if Paganini had been of nowdays perhaps he would have been a rock guitar player ...

why would you have to convince your teacher/prof to let you play this beautiful piece of music? What a snob, and the idiot would know that Vivaldi himself would be a "heavy metal" fanatic and performer if he were alive today. But that would mean your teacher would have to be brave enough to think for himself-something classical musicians are rather slow to do. And that false boundry line is robbing me and Americans of way too much good music and that pisses me off-as I've only got this one life.
