I live in Nova Scotia and I have been looking for a LED 90W UFO Triband 7:1:1 RBO Plant Grow Light that has the 630nm Red. My questions are: Where can I get one? If it's Chinese made will it burn out faster? I don't know if LEDs "suck" cause I've never used one. I am willing to give them a try considering that MH and HPS are costly to run and because of the spectrum. Any thoughts on where to get a good 90w Triband UFO 630nm in Canada? Thanks.

Its really a beautiful thing. Watching a plant go from a baby to a mature adult, and your only rewarded with the work you put in. People think its easy, and it is if you follow a book. But to actually learn how and why the plant does what it does is a whole different thing.

We've used cfl and led until about 5 months ago. from prop to bud the best results we've had has been full spectrum induction. It creamed the led in both the 300 & 650 nanometer ranges so it only took one 100 watter to get a very nice 12 week yield. I'm only responding because until you samle these in a tent or closet grow you'll only think cfl or led. ther is a good video on youtube for indagro lights. check it out and their website for more info. Anyone buy some LED panels?

excellent - very rich narrative. Thanks guys! When growing a seedling tom plant (2 weeks old) do you crank up the blue spectrum (e.g. 80% blue)m and then reverse it at flowing to 80% red light? I have my new 90W UFO set to 50:50 mix, about 2ft from the plant, and the plant is struggling. I've been hand spraying it with water and soil is good quality in a well drained pot.

your cfls are too far away from your plants to do any good at all and lower your ufos for ffs they dont burn pl;ants that easy!

Growing indoors isn't just about the lumen's, this provides the plants with a good wavelength spectrum. These 90w UFOs are very powerful and are often used to replace 400w HPS lights. I'm not sure which one he is using but the quad band ones are unmatched by any other 90w source.

Nice video. I am growing pinyon pine trees from seed indoors here in the (Summer HOT)PHX,AZ area. They will go up North next Fall to my 6,000 ft mountain lot. I soak for 2 days, split pointed end, then use 2" peat pots at constant 68 degrees F. Then I repot a month after sprouting. Using 2 T8 shoplamps with daylight bulbs, and supplamental red and blue LED, they are growing "Like WEED", but it's NOT weed. These trees can live 500 years! Not everyone growing inside is growing illegally.

Nice informative video! Thank you for sharing this. Where did you find that UFO LED light and how much did it cost? Currently I am only using a few CFL lights to grow tomato plants as well as a 5 foot Areca Palm in our daylight basement. (PDX gets little sun & lots of RAIN during the winter mo's hence why I moved the palm to the basement and is doing well.)
