The problem with Rick Perry, and almost all GOP politicians, is that they talk about free market principles, but they often fail to implement real capitalism, and most importantly, as Rick Perry does here, fail to even explain why those capitalistic principles work. Perry's argument is just that parents and teachers said "no thanks." The fact is that they said that for a reason, and capitalism cannot survive until those reasons are clearly known to all.

If you apply to colleges or universities in other states you need a national standard, otherwise one state admininstration (whether democratic, republican or independent) is doing whatever suits their political or ideoligical purpose in regard to education; like leaving certain topics out or emphasizing one topic too much. @Benuhgan like hell!!! if we compete against each state in education then each state sets its own qualification which one qualification in one state is different in another for test scores because each state is trying to better them self's as test score sadly promotes the foundation for income competitive education isn't what helps to better an economy.. a competitive markets do

@Benuhgan our education need to advance in what the market calls for...... and you know why each level of education doesn't prepare you in the next step because they are too concern with competitive test score in the next school or state of how to better them self because they need better funding . during the task text my teacher gave us the answer to the whole thing and said i didnt go to college to teach a test to help a school i went to a college to become a teacher to help kids damit"
