I know they're trying to make it fit the iOS device, you know, less fingers on screen, but this will suck for anyone who's been thrilled by the classic arcade game and its other good ports (e.g. Wii's Virtual Console, PC's GameTap service)

@wakeupfist Perfect framerate. It's only noticable when sound is on, when it drops to about 97%, and as the music is frame-based, this adds some audio distortion. But even that's not too bad.

Man, they blew such a hughe opportunity to bring an arcade classic to the iPhone... I loved the games because of the variety of attacks and weapons you could pick up and use. By being in the tank the entire time, it completely ruins the game for me. Crap.

So does the lack of an option to enjoy it in its native Arcade/NeoGeo 304x224 resolution (i.e. without the god awful unfiltered scaling and odd pixelation).

So does the lack of (much desired here in particular) screen orientation option.

So does the complete absence of any settings whatsoever!!

I would advise against purchasing this app despite the low cost since the experience is not much better than emulating Metal Slug 2 via MAME4iPhone.
