We all used to hang at Forefathers Inn, Kennebunkport, Maine in the late 70's and 80's. Bill, Vlad, Vini, and all the guys. We were one big family. Miss you Bill. Hope you are still playing up there.
I saw Bill many times in the late 70's in the Portland area. Loft, Thirsty's, Free St. He was the best and should have been national! He was so cool and I am sure that if he had stayed in Jersey he would have rose to the top. Instead, he chose to live a simpler life in Maine and Thank God for that !!!!! RIP Bill Chinnock!!!!
Bill was THE MAN! Best artist I've ever known. BTW: This version of "Outlaw" was from the 1978 Atlantic Records release of the album. It had previously been issued by Bill's own "North Country" Records, in 1977 with a different mix, much grittier and Bluesier. That was the definitive version of the album in the opinion of many fans.
@nywildcat I remember that version, hearing it late one night in 19?? on a radio station interview late at night(what were they thinking)If you have THAT version of "OUTLAW" please post!
Man Bill was the Man of Rock n Roll, miss his intensity, Show Ring in Brewer, Red Barn in Monroe, and the front lawn of the Capital in Augusta, he even made the Sea Dog ion Bangor,
I played DIme Store Hero at my weeding reception, we danced on the tables, RIP bill

Bill had a Harley. He was loved by the biker clubs and played at many of their concerts. They related to his lyrics and hard music live.

Great song! Really miss Bill, especially his live performances. He could really turn a place upside down.
