  • @sk8rbro726 There are semi trucks parked underneath the holes. Once the truck's hopper is full it will depart for the landfill, and another semi will take it's place.

  • LOL at the little bobcat! so many big machines there and this little beast skates circles around them all

  • I like to see Volvo excavs in the states too :-)

Would that machine to your right be packing waste all day?

We have a few machines sorting the waste and loading into the crusher, and if needed, they'd pack with the ...grapple or what you call the thing in english.

Most of the time the loader press the waste with the bucket.

  • Was that a truck driving out? WHere they dumping it into a truck?

  • yes

  • cool video! lol @ 1:43! load maximizer happened to be right there! and that skid loader at the end looks like a baby one with all the big ones around lol! When the truck first started moving I thought it was loaded into railcars because it seemed so long! lol

  • What are does things down there where the loader pushes trash there?

  • does your company recycle

  • thats alot of stuff that can be recycled goin too the landfill

  • This is pretty much it's handled here in Esco., except for the equipment used, which is just about TOTALLY different! Hey, that first roll off sounded NICE!! For some reason, I like hearing the sound of large quantities of trash falling, so this video really satisfied that in me!! lol! Seems like there's always something new sticking to the bottom of the bucket!

  • does any of this get recycled noticed alot of carboard

  • no, this goes strait to a landfill 45 miles away

  • you seriously need to get incinerators in North America... landfills went out of fashion in the 70s. Having the largest volume of trash per citizen in the world, continuing to just stash it just makes no sense. In Europe, the incinerators take 75% of the garbage, very little ends up on the landfills. The heat produced is used for heat and power.

  • I agree

Here in Denmark, we'd rather burn the printer than landfill the paper in the tray.

If, of course, the correct filters are in place!

  • Well we like to breath CLEAN air not trash-scented air.

  • Awesome vid! Loved the little Bobcat at the end lol. What's the max GVWR in NC? Is it 80,000lbs like here in California, or is it higher?

  • WOW, LOOK AT ALL THAT TRASH...LOL!

    GREAT VIDEO!

Have they ever had one of those loaders fall into that opening?

That little Bobcat looked pretty freaky approaching the opening that fast...

  • One transfer in los angeles exactly like this one.

  • Can you get it on video?

  • I dont go there that often so I'll try. If ur interested it is on Washington blvd and alameda. actually between santa fe ave and alameda on washington blvd.

  • Hmmm? I don't think I have ever seen that one.

Maybe I'll check it out next time I'm in the area...

    Thanx!

  • great vid once again!

  • Great vid once again!! Enjoyed watching this action! Funny seeing all the big 'dozers/packers' and then the tiny bobcat! How many trailers do you reckon come in each day?
