  • I have question...after when the conversion is installed, will the ground clearance of the truck be like the air bags when fully extended, or lower when they're deflated? I wanna do the conversion but really like the truck sits high and dont wanna sacrifice height...please answer and thank you

  • I have a 4wd 1998 Navigator. Am I able just to convert the rear suspension only?

  • its alot easier than a BRAKE job ive done mine on my truck 2x on the front and 3x on the rear, and another time on the rear of my buddies truck

Bout to do it again soon, as I have navigator springs up front instead of 4x4 expedition coils overs like i should

  • or you could but the monroe kit and spend 1/2 the money

  • Can anyone point me to this video for this vehicle, but in a 2WD model?

  • Just finished the front and rear conversion alone, took approximately five hours. Had all the tools, and two jacks. An impact wrench would have been helpful also a lift, but I didn't. I am not a mechanic by any means, I did think it was harder than doing my brakes, however not harder than doing my brakes the first time, if I ever have to do this again, it will be a piece of cake.

  • @kingfaruk1978 A bit like sex then ;)

  • Sounds to me that they took their BREAK job seriously when it comes to help after purchase. What can you expect from their "experts" if they can't even spell "brake job"......... more like mechanical midgets .......

  • By the way I called the help line on Sat. left a message and still no response for help!! I wound up getting it all done over 2 days using a good friend to assist. My suggestion is do the rear first! It may take about 2-3 hours if you have the right equipment and a good friend. Air gun impact tool will save you so much time! Do the front on another day trust me you will be sore and tired!! Good luck

  • @45geeman not many companies are open on saturdays. did they ever return your call?

  • Also the instruction sheet that comes with the kit is a photocopy and you can barely see the pictures of what you have to remove. The rear shock replacement is also a challenge the video shows the vehicle on a lift that is not required to do a brake job!!! You will need a 3ton jack and 2 jack stands and help from a good friend!!! My advice take your vehicle to a shop and have them put this kit on for you. If you don't and you get stuck doing this install you will be without your car. Good luck

  • There is good news and bad news about this video. The good news is if you order this part by mail you will get it in a timely manner. The bad news is it is not as easy as the video appears. It will not take you the time it takes to do a brake job!! The front spring is not easily compressible and a tool at my local Autozone/O'reilly does not work for the front springs. I had to use a hickey bar to compress this spring to seat it properly ( You will need two people to accomplish this).

  • how do you remove the lower control arm torsion bar?

  • mine dont have air ride it just has springs in the rear and shocks in the front its a 02 4x4 eddie bauer.

  • It's "Brake" job not "Break" job!!!

  • this vid was very helpful thanks
