I thought atheism was supposed to be liberating and filled with reason. Why is it that historically, every country that adopted state atheism has treated their citizens like crap? Why do atheist like C. Hitchens migrate here to the US (which allows religious freedoms) every year, but they never migrate to these countries?

3. There is no God to tell you what to do. So killing, raping etc is only wrong if YOU decide it is wrong. However, if YOU decide it's OK due to some common good, society etc you can start raping and killing as much as you want. Within Christianity it is forbidden. God says no. Period.
