The Germans invented the automobile. Enough said. Everyone else is a poser. The 2010 Porsche PDK Turbo ran a 0-60 time of 2.8 seconds on Car and Driver. Faster than even an Enzo to 60. The GTR couldn't touch the PDK version. The auto 911's are a joke compared to the dual clutch PDK with overboost.

hopefully when people buy gtrs they DONT get all stupid with the speed and power and wrapp it around a pole.. than they will have to go and buy a civic shitmobile

Any Porsche?? LOL. Try beating a Carrera GT in a GTR. Not to mention it's been WELL documented all over the net that the PDK 2010 911 Turbo absolutely smokes the GTR in a straight line. Not even close. Dual clutch tech was INVENTED by the Germans by the way so Ferrari and Nissan are using German tech. Not to mention the PDK has an overboost function which bumps it up like 20 HP for a few seconds on launch. GTR also has no where near the pedigree or class of a 911

@LachozaTube porsche is a volkswagon. make it sound like its an amazing ride have you ever taken a ride in one..and see how amazingly bad and stiff the suspension is providing porsche drivers all over the world lower and upper back pains..car is so jittery and uncontrollable stop glorifying this vehicle.

@LachozaTube Not to mention Nissan also used Fords Plasma cylinder wall tech that they claimed fame to because they had it in the first production car which was then in the GT500 after. Nissan paid ford to use the technology. Thats right mustang tech gets the Nissan further.

this was one of the worst matchups ever, the porsche had a 5 speed slush box automatic, not a 6 speed or even the PDK system which is dual clutch sequential like the GTR, how can that even be considered a supercar? there is nothing even remotely sporty about an automatic

@mikethebeast1012 The Porsche Tiptronic was a total failure. PART 4 in the road race really showed had desperately Tanner Foust could've used a 6 speed manual.

@m3trooper i agree 100% i cant believe they even used that car, and the next episode was a great match up between tuned Ferrari and tuned Porsche with similar stats, this episode was garbage but i will still watch the show to see what else they have

@m3trooper The dude driving the Porsche is an idiot. He drove both the E63 AMG Mercedes and the 911 Turbo in Trip Tronic. Both cars run alot faster by leaving it in AUTOMATIC mode only. You can't shift faster than the computer. IDIOT! The other guy is a superior driver all the way around.
