Living in Versailles, I feel so emotional... By the way, it was quite hard to find the place where you can still purchase the perfume bottle in Paris, as it is not trendy at all, so I checked on the phone beforehand and I was surprised to hear the lady say " This is not what he bought when he came to the shop ! Oh yeah to wondering why he wore women's perfume well, women have a better sense of smell (proven fact) So of course women would respond more to their perfume. Michael defiantly knew what he was doing!

I love Bal A Versaillies. I did not buy the pure first, but I bought the cheaper stuff to see if I would like it. I love it. It is a complex smell that is really hard to explain. On me I can smell like a talc powder undertone. Layered is the best way to describe it. Citrus, musky, and sometimes lightly floral. I know it sounds weird but as I said it is hard to explain. I bought the Pure form .25 oz online today and I can't wait to get it. If I like it I'll buy a larger bottle.

It's tastefuul and elegant and timeless. I bought the Eau de Toilette to start with to make sure I liked and that it suits me and well, next time I'll buy the Parfum. You'll love it! I just bought a bottle of the pure parfum off of ebay and I can not wait to get it. I guess it is the closest to MJ I will have ever came. The bottle is vintage small & used and there is only half left but for $30.00 it is so worth it, I couldn't afford a brand new bottle of the pure parfum since it is the highest concentrate it is very expensive, so a liittle bit is better than nothing at all. I can not wait until it gets here. :)

You can find many sellers, stores on Ebay that sell the pure parfum. It's not cheap, 1 oz can run you about $145.00, but you can find some smaller sizes for $40 to $60.00. I bought the mini EDT @ $7.99 (they are now selling it for $9.99)and the scent dosen't last as long, but the lotion with it helps! Untl I can save up for the pure this does just fine!!! I love it!!!!

BAL A VERSAILLES... Yes...it is a woman's perfume... Best place to get it is EBAY. There is also a perfume called MYSTIQUE... that he endorsed.  (kind of pricey)... then there is a third called MICHAEL JACKSON (for men & women).. see e-bay...very easy to get...just register a credit card and you are a member.

I've been searching for this answer everywhere, and this is what I came up with: apparantely, Michael's favorite cologne is Bal à Versailles. He also wore Obsession, Joop, and Black Orchid. It's been said that he always smelled very good, and from the reviews I've read for these scents, he must have. Keep in mind that I'm not just saying this because I'm a major fan. ;)

Black Orchid is too new to be MJ's favorite. The parfume was launched in 2006. As for Bal a Versailles - that was long ago in 1962.
