  • they come from germany.....

  • HOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • french EBM...

  • I guess its obvious that dislike button here is unnecessary ! It should be removed! I am glad this song was made here on Earth not somewhere else!

  • I completely forgot this song !!!! At that time, my favorite club in Montreal was the CARGO on ST-Denis, corner of Rachel. THe Foufounes Electric was a small club. I saw Bahaus live over there ! ANd the Virging Pruns at the Pleine Lune on Des Pins

  • Eh? 'Course it fits a genre ... why wouldn't it??

  • R.I.P. Chrislo :(

  • Mi favorita :D

  • Massive punk dance from 1979!!! (complete album released in 1981)

Totally incredible to think Liaisons Dangereuses had this sound in 1979. YEARS ahead of their time. Incredibly hard hitting!! To this day no other group has ever done punk and dance as hard.

  • So much better than D.A.F. ;-)

  • @gotanigo I totally agree. Much, much, much better than those silly and poorly sounded DAF. And way ahead/before DAF, as well

  • Je sens encore couler toute cette sueur sur mon corps et pourtant.... Je ne suis pas mort!

  • Je sens encore couler cette sueur sur mon corps et pourtant.... Je ne suis pas mort!

  • @Techne It is a very nice -and their only- album. The album comes from 1981, so that would be 30 years ago. Imagine how alien it must have sounded back then.

@petersedin One of the band members (Chrislo Haas) was a member of DAF so that (at least in part) explains the similarities. Also both bands probably used the KORG DS-20 (with sequencer?) a lot for the characteristic monophonic bassline.

  • @ErixPerix You are right, me always trying to short my age LOL.

  • Such a physical music...

  • Dark, groovy tracks. :)

  • So incredible it still sounds impossible weird and modern after.. 20 years? The whole album must be german electronica's best kept secret.

  • @Techne "Los Ninos Del Parque" was a huge Club-hit in Germany, but the rest of the album was more for the Underground scene

  • @tomkowo World wide hit. It was huge in LatAm, for what I can say. I remember being a teen and being presented by my dad with the cassette EP. Little after I discovered synth-pop usual suspects but never listened to something close to this weirdness/rawness/emotion.. electro but jazz but synth but dada but dance but punk but.. incredible.

  • @Techne Alright, didn`t know that it was that huge. I loved LD from the very first second, also because Chrislo Haas formerly was a member of DAF, who ruled the German Underground at that time. Besides, you must`ve been a lucky kid, I wish my Dad would have come up with a cassette like that :-)

  • agghiacciante

  • And, by the way, the title must be "Etre assis ou danser"..."danset" means nothing in french...just to help! :)

  • ao aoh oohhh

  • they were great.. but you can tell they listen to som DAF right?

  • C'est l'histoire d'un chanteur qui avait une voix de constipé ho oh ohhhh

  • Great track from a great band!

  • This reminds me of Suicide for some reason - maybe the minimalism.

  • @wergism Suicide have been a huge reference for a lot of bands..First of all DAF and Liaisons..

  • Music this original comes around so rarely. If you can't recognize it, who needs you! It doesn't fit genres, it forces others to start genres to try to recreate the magic.

Nineteen Hundred and eighty one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This would be original if it was released TODAY!

  • @timoteo5000 Dead right on the money :)

  • @timoteo5000

Eh? 'Course it fits a genre ... why wouldn't it??

  • i don'nt really know... french EBM sounds like gay music. It sounds not that hard and aggressive as it should be

  • asi es es un claro ejemplo de la musica industrial!! de antaño!!

    buen aporte!! saludos desde mexico

  • buenisima cancion
