-I saw other videos with other ways of putting dreads in your hair that include braiding you real hair in it but those where dreads without loops
@GigglezJuicy2010 A small size doesn't always mean beautiful, if you look back to when there were pin up models they were not a size 0, they had curves like a woman should & thats what made them beautiful compared to the woman who are models now they are flesh draped over bones & most meet the criteria for anorexia. I say try it out! I own most of their books/tour movies & not all of them are tiny, they are all different shapes & thats what makes them all beautiful! :-)
but if you read the comments people make on the suicide girls Facebook page its ridiculous... like people are extremely hateful and just rude like... this one girl called this other girl who was modeling a cow... and she was like maybe a size 9 or 10 smh i mean i know it the modeling world thats considered plus size but to call her a cow? extremely uncalled for...

I have about a three/four inch wide mohawk (measurements from looking at it head on) and my heads about, just about an estimate of 14/16 inches from the side view
..my point is I dont have full head of hair so how many hair packets would I need?

@xxLovewillsufficexx I would order at least 15 bags for a full head to allow for extra and mess ups if its your first set. Honestly, I had to throw my first set away they did not turn out, but I had never seen a tutorial so that would play in your advantage. I would suggest making them yourself, not ebay. Unless you've seen they're dreads what I've seen is very low quality. But thats just me. I do also sell them myself if you want to buy :]
@BeautifulDisgraceSiC i saw ones that seemed pretty nice (at least in the pic) by the_curio_lab on ebay. She sells hers for about 110 dollars. I think it includes 80 SE dreads. Obviously, i just don't want to get ripped off. How much do you sell yours for? -Thanks for the help btw! xoxo

can u use lik a clip i hair extension and then do wat u just did cus i hav lik half my head pixie cut short and i just want lik one or too dreads to hav wer my hair is long to just clip in and i dont wanna go to hottopic to pay lik 14$ or sumtin lik that to get clip ins and it will be more fun
@MrPunkieChick no using pre-clipped hair extensions won't work, thats a different type of synthetic hair so it will not seal at all. but you could make a few single dreads and attach them to clips.
any tips for backcombing? yours seem to lock up fast and it seems to take me all day for mediocre results. I'm using a flat metal teasing comb and i can't get mine to be able to stand up like that. And when i seal them, they get super small, i assume its cuz i'm not getting them combed right. idk, but i def need help :P

How many long single ended dreads do you think you can make out of a pack of the hair? Ive been hesitant in ordering any because I don't know how many packs id be getting.
heh, very nice. same technique i used to make my real dreads... the back combing atleast. probably gonna make a few of your synth ones in bright colors to attach in my real dreadies for raves and shows. gonna make the end loop smaller and run a small hemp loop through. just run the synth dread thro the loop to make a tension knot. the hemp friction knot should keep it in good for wild hardcore raging and hemp looks good in real dreads too ; )
Part two: And when I finally twist the dread, I can't get it really "firm". Like it's going to untwist very soon. Maybe this is because the backcombing isn't going very well?
I started making (or at least trying to) synthetic dreads today, but I ran into some difficulties. I hope you can help me with this:
First of all, I'm having trouble with the backcombing. It's quite hard to get it standing up like that without losing all the hair... Because when I backcomb it, a lot of the hair falls out and I loose a lot of lenght that way. (Oh, by the way: I have only come to this problem with the black kanekalon, not (yet) with the green or pink that I bought).
my plans for spring break are to finally get around to putting in synth dreads. I was wondering if you had a prefered place, online or otherwise, to buy them. thnx
@Rawr1tsKim 1) I had about 120 DE and SE dreads total. I don't know how many of each sorry :/
2) Fine hair can be damaged easier by the weight of the dreads, but you could still manage a very full head of dreads
3) That hairstyle is one that i do alllll the time when i have dreads, but i don't have a video of how to do it yet. I can try to explain in a personal message. :]
is there some kind of like metal stand or contraption that i can use instead of a hanger or string on the back of a chair? something specifically made for dread making?
i also make dreads and what i really like about your video is that u emphasize on backing combing the dread till its almost stiff. it really does keep the dread sealed better and it holds up longer. not many dread makers say to do that.
@fbtmokristina after making them for a few years, i can make a full set in two weeks with everything else going on too. So definitely less than a month allowing for lots of distractions.
thanks for the vid btw its really helpful :D i was wondering, i really hate when dreads look patchy, where you can see the scalp - yours look amazing, how do you get them like that? do you just use lots of dreads, or really thick ones??
@xMissHalloweenx If you have like black hair, there is more than 1 way to put these in. You can always just braid it for like an inch, then just braid ur hair, gives a very different look. Or you can save some of the colored hair and wrap it over your hair so everything is the color of the dread. This way looks much better, but the loose hair eventually dreads up itself and becomes very hard to get the dreads out when you want to remove them.
You know how you cut it in half and shit well i just bought some good colourful extentions down the shope anf there about five cm thick, and they have a clip thingy attached tot the top of them so do i cut off the clip and still do your method or can i still do your method with the clip still on?
@lollipopqueen11 if they're just clip in extensions, they might not work for this. they have to be a certain type of fiber, not just any synthetic. but if it does work, you could leave the clip on if you want, but i really wouldn't recommend it.
sorry i just recently seen this video and i was wondering if your hair was all black and you braided in colored dreads or if you hair is a different color?
i want to jus temporarily install these bad dogs in my hair for a show. i have pretty long ass hair as it is, is it possible to just attach em to like a thick headband so that the next day i dont have to sit and fish these outta my hair?
@AGlowIntheDarkPanda There is a way to wash more your scalp than your hair, because your actual hair, at least in my experience, doesn't get dirty, just your scalp. So you can wash your head, message me if you'd like the steps on how to :]

@FuckTheRichAndFamous I've actually done all three, boiling water is the most "official" I guess, but its much faster to do the flat iron over a wet cloth and that way it seals basically just as good.
@TheStoniexLette Well I do a mix, I like to do the double enders on the top for more coverage, and then single ended on the bottom layer for less weight and pull. And yes, I do sell :] I will message you.

is there some kind of like metal stand or contraption that i can use instead of a hanger or string on the back of a chair? something specifically made for dread making?

i also make dreads and what i really like about your video is that u emphasize on backing combing the dread till its almost stiff. it really does keep the dread sealed better and it holds up longer. not many dread makers say to do that.

@fbtmokristina after making them for a few years, i can make a full set in two weeks with everything else going on too. So definitely less than a month allowing for lots of distractions.

@xMissHalloweenx If you have like black hair, there is more than 1 way to put these in. You can always just braid it for like an inch, then just braid ur hair, gives a very different look. Or you can save some of the colored hair and wrap it over your hair so everything is the color of the dread. This way looks much better, but the loose hair eventually dreads up itself and becomes very hard to get the dreads out when you want to remove them.

You know how you cut it in half and shit well i just bought some good colourful extentions down the shope anf there about five cm thick, and they have a clip thingy attached tot the top of them so do i cut off the clip and still do your method or can i still do your method with the clip still on?

@lollipopqueen11 if they're just clip in extensions, they might not work for this. they have to be a certain type of fiber, not just any synthetic. but if it does work, you could leave the clip on if you want, but i really wouldn't recommend it.

@AGlowIntheDarkPanda There is a way to wash more your scalp than your hair, because your actual hair, at least in my experience, doesn't get dirty, just your scalp. So you can wash your head, message me if you'd like the steps on how to :]

@FuckTheRichAndFamous I've actually done all three, boiling water is the most "official" I guess, but its much faster to do the flat iron over a wet cloth and that way it seals basically just as good.

@TheStoniexLette Well I do a mix, I like to do the double enders on the top for more coverage, and then single ended on the bottom layer for less weight and pull. And yes, I do sell :] I will message you.
