  • when do you plant it? do you get seeds or just little baby tubers to plant?

  • You can just grow it by the tuber, much like a potato. I just got some of these from "Whole Food" in Georgia. @jcrev217

  • @thegreatsilvercoin Oh great thx! I want to plant some by our back fence. I guess you can plant them in the fall then? I've never noticed them at the store but I'll look for them this year.

  • @jcrev217 the tubers, i put it in the grown in dec, and it grow out in around March.

  • Composite Family has both sunflowers and artichokes in it,so they are in the same family as artichokes.

  • your variety, I would guess, is 'stampede'... FYI... It's one of the only varieties that I know of that flower before frosts in most colder places (NY state is my frame of reference).
