50% of Heterosexual marriages end in divorce, so the kids of those divorced families are not being raised by both of their biological parents. Should we outlaw divorce, for the children? In a same-sex marriage the child would receive benefits he normally wouldn't have if they were not married. I hate it when opponents to gay marriage bring children into the debate. The constitution also never said anything about African-Americans or women being allowed to vote, that's why there are amendments!!!
