I also hate the clapping - especially here, ruins the moment. But generally when people clap at live events no-one can clap in fucking time, I always feel sorry for the drummer who has to completely block it out, which is very hard as I drum and it's quite distracting.

But when sigur ros are playing nothing else matters other than the beautiful beautiful music.

I know what you mean, i play guitar and it's hard with people clapping out of time, can't imagine what it's like for drummers. Also, the people at Werchter couldn't clap in time to save their lives.

This was a truley superb performance though, one of my favourate performances ever.

Thats the problem with festivals sometimes.

I was really disappointed with how some of the people who were there for Radiohead just talked through the entire set, was really out of order.

I must see them at their own gig soon!

you do realize that sound travels, right? and when someone is clapping in time 5 rows ahead of you, you're not going to hear the sound correctly, right?
