  • Why in the world didn't they make a convertible model, it's the perfect body style for one!

    Bobbie

  • My dad has a black 68 coupe

  • Thanks for posting this slideshow of my favorite model of the P1800 line and one of my all-time favorites!

  • Saw an ES down in the Barbican, Plymouth and I looked at it for about 10 mins- friggin beautiful. That red one at 27secs is to die for

  • Lovely motors - savin up for one - might even trade my collection of 60's soul + RnB vinyl for one if anyone's interested.

  • The blue-green ES is the exact replica of the one we bought new in '73. Owned it just under 10 yrs and 150K mostly trouble free miles. Wonderful car. Yes the fuel inj was not trouble free but only an occasional annoyance. Always started even in the coldest Colorado winter weather. Great in snow. Really miss the car but finances later on prohibited keeping such a classic. Sold it to a man in New Mexico in '83, hope he still has it.

  • My father had a '71 ES that he bought NEW in '71, and it was a seriouse problem child, ran like crap - that 1st year of the Bosch fuel injection was a joke! Spent more time at the dealer then it did at home. Dad sold it off before he even owned it a year. Then he bought a really nice "Used" '70 P1800s with SU carbs, it ran great - and was a very fun car. I remember it well from my childhood.

  • nice job!
