I was too an avid fan of the show if only this Armida didnt sing at all.
Specially when she reaches that high now at the end of the song..sounds like broken bells ringing... just because she produced the show at that time doesnt mean she has the right to sing too...hay dios mio.
It was an ABS-CBN prime time weekly telecast in the early or mid 70's. I was an avid viewer. I just adored the show for taking pride in our music. It was on this program that I first heard the late FPJ sing.
armida's aawitan kita specials (were they in the 70's or 80's?) showcased philippine culture. the big tv networks should put up something like that to teach the young generation classical philippine culture anew.
