@katjipopi Seems redundant to label applied biochemical, microbiology, and molecular biology techniques as engineering. I think it's redundant and deceptive to say that a scientist who designs is engineering rather than designing by knowledge through applied science. Engineering reinvented itself as applied science. A physicist can design a structure without any prior trial and error knowledged gained through experience which has been the hallmark of engineering.
