  • @hopecamel you usually have two chokes for trap shooting as well because one of the clay birds flies over close and flies over far so you need a tighter pattern to hit the far bird.

  • Guess it depends on the company/any deals and such. my Stoeger Condor came with 7 but i saw some that came with just 2 in the barrel. id just asked the gun shop your buying it from

  • thx for the response, btw it came with one inside and 2 other ones in a small selaed package with the tool to remove and tighten the chockes.

  • thats classic !

cool so you can have each barrel on a seperate choke for separate firing paterns if u want.

  • What are barrel chokes i've always wonded

  • A choke tube is a separate tube section inserted into the muzzle end of the shotgun to 'choke' or provide various degrees of restriction to the diameter of the bore to produce different degrees of shot patterning at various ranges.

Some shotguns have fixed chokes, others are interchangeable.

    hope this helps

  • berral chokes can be put into the muzzle to control the spread of the shot so you can make the pattern widwer or closer together. hope it helps.

  • @landcruiser151 the size of the end of the barrel, the bigger the choke, the bigger the spread

  • Excellent, informative video. Many thanks.
