@joshuacarbajal Ashen Grey its an interim color like imperial blue and crystal red so this along with the other 2 will be rare to find at dealerships for the 2012 model..if you want any of those 3 colors you more than likely will have to custom order it through a local dealer you trust

@jhayabusa85050 You don't understand where the name ZL1 comes from and history, ZL1 was an all aluminum 427 BBC that where put in only 69 cars, 2 of them being in Corvette's, 2 in the Impalas SS and the rest in COPO Camaro's, So it wouldn't be right to put a 6.2 motor, when they should have put the LS7 427 with a supercharger. Because Now that name don't mean anything more.

Purple, I actually called Chevy in June and asked if they were coming out w/ Purple for 2012. They called me back in August when the colors were revealed,and the answer was "NO". After seeing it in frame, 36 sec,...I fell in love. Why cant they come out with a purple one????? I even asked if I could order one in a primer color and have it painted at the dealer...again the answer was "no." That color is soo sweet on this car...WHY, WHY, WHY!! LOL :) Guess I'll repaint when I buy it.

@furlano7 Couldn't they do special orders for those that want a specific color? It wouldn't waste the paint, and those of us that want the unusual colors would "foot the bill" for the paint? At least that way, they dont have to worry about mass production of so many cars w/ a paint that doesn't do so well. It would be a limited production, special order color. I can only keep crossing my fingers. :)

I'd get it in a custom paint. I'd ask for it with the primer on it and take it to a local shop here in Vegas for a special order paint job.

But barring that, black Camaros are really ubiquitous here in Vegas so I'd settle for dark gray.
