WHOA! The royalty has arrived! Thank you for your comment, Sir. Although I'd contend that at a nice, swingin' tempo, your beats on this mix are as beefy and gutsy as anything before or since. Here are the hooks for me - 1) The way you worked that big-arsed, rounded bassline, pumping (*not* banging) kick, and those snappy hi-hats. And 2) Those offbeat tribal echoes perfect the swinging, cavernous madness of it all. Synergy. Pure 3am sweaty sex, and you know it.

Ahh..brings back memories. One of the last cuts we did before finally getting an SP1200 and beefing up our beats! We had just started getting wider exposure when this came out. Good times...
