Wagahai wa" is a hilarious but sophisticated comedy and requires some familiarity with the works of Natsume Soseki (1867-1916), a literary giant whose work "Wagahai wa Neko de Aru" is the basis for this comedy. Midori and Takashi are singing that they are inseparably in love even after 15 years of marriage; they are dating every day and their dating place is their home, etc (Kudo Kankuro's usual funny but nonsensical lyrics).

In the drama Oikawa plays a devoted father/husband (Takashi) with two children. The woman is Saito Miki in a role as his wife (Midori). Oikawa is wearing a mailman's uniform and a costume from a Takashi's college musical.
