There ARE problems with it. It needs 4 more cannons with shells, it has no crow's nest, it doesn't have even remotely enough soldiers to crew it, and it has no rear sail to match the one in the bow (front of the ship). Me, I think it'd be nice if the captain at least had a bed. Otherwise, I think this is a really cool lego set; it's the first I bought since I was a teenager.

I can imagine even more difficult things, since this is probably the set with the most pieces ive ever built. i wonder how ti feels to build the Taj mahal? about 6000 pieces, dont think this is too hard. just time consuming. now if youre thinking about the Taj mahal, then thats different....

@villacup1 Kid, you can do it! Don´t surrender, although it may seem hard, you can do it, I have assambled almost 20 (or more, im not sure) sets, most of them are City, and adding that to a box Lego once released of 1000 pieces, I can say: If I did it at my age (around 5 years, my dad build me that big box of 1000 pieces) you can do it. And heck did I used that box, I still use it at the age of 13, whenever an idea springs.

Never surrender if it seems hard.

ive heard many complains on certain parts being not so sturdy, especially the front.

do any of you that have it think it comes off really easy?

@Playit1112 I own this set and I haven't had any problems with the front at all! When you assemble it, just make sure that all the pieces are firmly in place, and study the directions closely so you don't miss any important small pieces. This set is a must have if you're a collector. It's huge and it looks very realistic and really cool!

@wafflemonster8 I can answer it for ya. Yes, everything you see on this vid is included in the set. There are 6 soldiers in total, admiral's daughter, cook/pirate and captain brickbeard.

@AlexfromNorway thanks, but you know somthing interesting, i got the set early and when i was done, it had way more weapons than you sad you were geting=)i got 8 cutlasses! 6 flintlocks! and 4 muskets! the thing said that you got less, unless im thinking of brick beards bounty XD lol!

Wow, love the sails, at last decent sails without the kiddy looking prints. She is a beauty, but I can see just on flaw: you can't shoot the cannons without taking the cover.

Great review and the flagship looks really beautiful and high on detail. But I've heard that the front of the ship is really fragile and will fall apart easily. is that true?

@AlexfromNorway Thanks! The truth is that the front of the ship is not the sturdiest thing in the world, but if you handle the ship carefully, it stays in place. It should be a bit reinforced, but oh well. As you can see on the video, while I move the ship around the front part stays in place. But if it hits something, it may fall.

I love your reviews, but can you put the prices into some of the annotations?

The reason I don't put the prices is that they differ a lot from one country to another. For example, Star Wars sets are much more expensive in my country than in the U.S. or other european Country. But, surprisingly, this set is cheaper in my country than in Findland. For a price guide on each set, it's better to refer to bricklink :-)
