'Met Monte and his band at Montreal Guitar Fest this summer (2010). Man-oh-man, what a night. Such a great down-to-earth artist. He signed my "Mirror" tshirt, chat a li'l about his trip down here and how he loves Montreal. I discovered him many years ago from an interview on a US TV channel and bought all his album since. Antoine Dufour, a guy from my neighborhood, is another a m a z i n g guitar player.

I've talk with Monte in Montreal Boss compressor ( The old one from Japan CS2) All knob usually set at 12 oclock.

I talk to him in Montreal guitar show 2009.. here's the full fact

On disk and performance like this one, he use too: tremolo + delay ( Boss again) add distortion pedal with an amp very basic for acoustic guitar. His guitar is an Alvarez 1988 Alvarez-Yairi DY62C Acoustic-Electric Guitar.
