well i think black shadow took on the forms of them yes becuse the anime could follow the games if

the anime cuts into the games then this takes place before X then black shadow mightv either not died lol or he couldv been brought back by deathborn and that might be why black shadow has a debt to deathborn and rick is captain falcon.

How was Black Shadow at the race and at the F-Zero head if he & Deathborn were the one and same? Why disguise as Don Genie? Something tells me they were at one time seperated but around the end of the Anime decided to merge into one super being.

I think Black Shadow was able to duplicate...if not himself, at least Don Genie and Deathborn.

I always understood it as Black Shadow was able to create other manifestations of himself that way Don Genie and Deathborn are extensions of Black Shadow himself.

This may be a stupid question, but in this series, are Don Genine, Deathborn, and Black Shadow one and the same, or were they just holograms? And if So, what for?

They are the same person. He was "disguised" as Deathborn so no one could know Black Shadow was the head of the F-Zero Association, but I don't know what's the reason why Black Shadow also disguised as Don Genie.

Before you ask, Deathborn said that Don Genie hid in that ship and Black Shadow told Ryu and Falcon that they had to go to the Dark Star, which is where the Dark Reactor is.
