THIS IS WAY TOO COOL!! I have been interested in learning how to play a Ukulele and now, wanting to learn how to play slide on one. Thank you for posting. I will be sharing this video for sure and making it a favorite!!
Dude! I play a little slide ukulele and I think you are great! Write a song about that mean old jr. high teacher. They are outnumbered by large nymbers of hostiles, you know. You have a great feel for the blues.
Hey Neil, you sound great , I been meaning to buy a slide tube for a while now... your song reminds me of an American artist that has been doing really well here in the U.k recently. he plays a beat up old guitar with 3 strings. check him out on youtube just search seasick steve....not sure that he is known at all in the states but I'm sure he soon will be. great song, thanks for sharing it!
sir or madam thank you for the kind words i did check out seasick steve i enjoyed the videos i watched of him so far playing slide with three strings might work out well for me since it would eliminate unwanted tones from other strings not played i just have to figure out which three i think he is in open g tuning thanks for telling me about this guy he seems to be playing real blues which is rare here in the states. maybe i swhould move to the U.K.
Glad you found it Neil..I saw a documentary about him recently , he said he had to bandage his finger tips when he plays his 3 string to stop chunks of finger flying off! as for moving here DONT!! its -1 outside..the beer is warm and summer only lasts 2 weeks!! Peace. Paul.
Thank you kindly, I checked out a few of your songs. You have a great voice, and more importantly you know how to use it, Keep up the good work. Very entertaining Neil
sounds more like a tenor guitar in open G than a uke.

You inspired me to spend $15 on a god damn slide, you're playing was just that inspiring!
Where did you get the TABs? I would love to learn to play this!
bubrockit 1 year ago
@bubrockit no tabs, just tuned due to open G and went from there, throwing some standard robert Johnson signature phrasing.
