When you started the song. The viola was way to fast for the rythem to match the bass correctly. Try keeping the viola speed at a normal pace to keep a tempo with the bass and drums but other than that nice job.

I think you got too much *in and out* sound going on. try some spacing between notes, and adding other beats during those breaks, that way it doesn't feel the silence, there's many other things you can do as well, keep on trying.

Okay, what your problem is: You distort the violin too much, it doesn't have a pure enough sound, and you should just completely cut out the voice. I play violin, and adore techno. You should stick more with stuff like at 0:43 to 0:50, that's kewl shit. The other... eh. Maybe it's not my cup o' tea is all. I do think you have promise though. Keep going!

this is an idea i have wanted for a while too, i have a couple ideas for other ways it could be don. like having a normal violin doing a reel or somesuch and having the techno rythems as a background acompaniment, or use an elictric violin for the rell or whathaveyou and use the techno rythems inplace of the drums. just some idias.
