Why this great actress doesn't have a star on Hollywood Blvd while some not even close to her importance to movie history do, is beyond me. She was talented, beautiful and innocent on the screen. Charlie sent her a check every month until her death. She deserves more recognition!!!
Thanks for a lovely tribute to a lovely actress. It speaks volumes that the final pages of Chaplin's autobiography, up to the next to last page, are about Edna, and in general, she is one of the few people in his life that he wrote about in detail in the book. I don't think he ever quite got over her, and she seemed to always have had feelings for him. Love the music too. Have to see if I can find it on Amazon!
Never heard of this actress before` but within 5 mins i began to discover this lost Star in all her glory. Surely during the vintage and victorian era she made her mark.
Thanks to photography and Baz we now can rest our eyes on this beautiful woman. Excellent.

Another great Silent beauty. I just recently started to watch more Chaplin films and now see why he picked her as his leading lady.

Thank you Megg. The music is titled 'Claudine' and is played by Maksim Mrvica. Glad you enjoyed the tribute.
