  • 95 Better Than Vista :|

  • Not when Bob Rivers is near 95 XD

  • Opening My computer makes a piece of paper about coffee??

  • God, I remember when using my first computer with Windows 95 on it when I was 3 years old. I was still a "computer nerd" back then. :P Ah, the nostalgia.

  • never had windows 95, but i bet that froze and had constant errors like win 2007 ME did.

  • I have used it and can tell you it was a good os for the time and was better then ME (:

  • Windows ME was just fine...

until you started installing applications lol

  • haha!

i had one of these discs some years ago, too...

great to find the video here :)

  • Good!

  • Cool. Never saw this.

  • If only windows really had animated backgrounds.

  • @whiteechidna now, i know this is a 2yo comment, but since Windows 98 (or Win95 + active desktop) you can have animated backgrounds using some special code. Personally i used to have some scrolling stuff for a while but a) it got tiresome and b) i did that back when i still had a Pentium MMX @ 200MHz and was slowing down the system a bit :-P

  • @whiteechidna DREAMSCENE. :|

  • @whiteechidna Use a gif.

  • @whiteechidna it has on vista

  • I still use Windows 3.1 as my main OS.

  • Windows 3.11 is NOT an OS. it is simple a DOS shell... with extended features.

  • Then neither are 95, 98, or Me.

  • you're right, we could probably argue that, but for a FACT, 3.11 is NOT an OS.

  • It is. Win16 executables cannot be run in DOS Mode.

And DOS was just used by Win9x as a bootloader and kept for MS-DOS apps support.

  • but in both cases you need to be running Windows for certain programs. so it's kinda a extension to the OS

  • @aj0049 well, if someone has "extract" dos 7 from windows 95, i think 9x is just dos bundled with a shell

  • no, 9X was a stand-alone OS that still used DOS subroutines.

  • @aj0049 yeah 3.11 was not an OS, but WFW 3.11 was!

  • This is true. All versions of Windows up to 3.11 for Workgroups could not operate on their own, as Windows 95 and later versions could. You had to run MS-DOS and THEN launch Windows. Windows 3.x was just a graphical DOS shell.

  • I think I still have a few of those Discover magazines from way back then which had double page spreads of Windows '95 ads proudly showing the infamous "Start" button.

  • Windows 95 makes Coffee airborne.

  • @DarkSoftStudios lololololololoolololol

  • lol the earth flew

  • Get windows 3.1 again because it doesn't have coffee and hats flying all over the place

  • lol X-D

  • Another bad thing: Windows 95 is in the sky so you can't reach it.

  • I have this.
