It was the week before Christmas, and I along with all members of Parliament will be enjoying a very long Christmas break thanks to the taxpayers. With lots of money and expenses to claim my what a wonderful Christmas we shall have.
I think this should be said than what MP Cuzner spoke.
I wonder how many tax dollars it took for him to write this. I guess we are to forget how much the Liberals screwed things up before the Tories had the majority.
Excellent and oh so true. Happy Holidays to anybody that didnt vote for the Harper Criminals.
For those that did vote for the science hating, racist, dumb as dirt right-wing religious zealots know as the "Harper Government" I hope you're the first to end up in those brand new prisons Harper is building. Feel free to take one for the team these prisons aint gonna pay for themselves :)
Your tax dollars at work. Perhaps Mr Cuzner, along with all MPs, should investigate what the responsibilities of government actually are and perhaps take his position a little more seriously.
all you Libs have a raging hard on right now, but remember you have 34 seats to our 165, not to mention even less than the socialists have. so write all the gay poems you want because they do nothing for you
@gundamWWW He didnt make fun of the issues, he raised the issues. People like it because it is not bland and boring politics. If this makes more rounds around the news and people get interested.....well.....you get more people interested and more people will hear about the problems that are currently facing us. That man definitely deserves kudos.
I never held up any model of politics as "perfect"
But a infusing some a basic understanding of mutual respect would be a positive start.
These MP's should remember Taxpapers
pay their $100,000+ salary,
we pay for their massive expensive accounts,
and we pay for the inflation adjusted pensions.
The very least that they could do is stop wasting their time trying to impress their colleagues in the house and raise the serious issues that affect their constituents.
@gundamWWW I who are dont know if politics ever had what you describe and I also dont know if human beings who are passionate about helping people can come to a civilized discussion like that. Although I think at this point, they are no longer championing the people, but 2 systems of helping people. This is why they probably fight over this stuff. I still think the poem was a clever jab at the conservatives tho. I still approve :)
And you are letting people post directly on this video, Thank you liberalvideo, I have been waiting a long time for that. Me and my fellow youtubers did not like the submission process +1 Like
@BlackJaketCrusader Yep, we sure need those Conservatives to save us from the horrors of Peter Mackay having to find his own way home from the cottage, and there not being a gazebo on taxpayer dollars in Tony Clement's backyard!
@colinpetersofficial Sadly I'm very aware that a lot of Harperites don't pay attention to the world around them (or wish they could legalize exterminating liberals).
@jamielipson23 i congratulate you on making entirely too many assumptions. the fact that you thought i was arguing for any politicle party just goes to show how imensly stupid you must be, and how does a logic based argument have anything to do with being informed? one can stand alone without prior knowledge of any subject, the other is simply the amount of factual information you can possess.
i don't know how some people can be so stupid sometimes.
@jamielipson23 oh, and as a clarification, because you were making an attack on the liberal party that i cannot abide (not because i'm defending the party, but simply because i can't stand how flawed your logic is). results (odly enough) are not a reliable indication of "in-touch-ness"
I almost forgot that Canada's political legitimacy is a joke. Parliament is embarrassing to watch as is, to the world this just makes our political leaders look simple.

@rjspear To write, and read a nursery rhythm? A little bit less than a bunch of new prisons, I would guess.
SuperSdrawkcab 2 weeks ago
@SuperSdrawkcab Yes but the fact it was done at his pay makes it a bit on the dumb side. I would say the same thing if a tory or ndp did this.
rjspear 2 weeks ago
@rjspear I certainly understand your distaste, but look at it this way: at least something of value came out of a MP. That was amusing.

I don't know why people like this soo much.
This was clearly a partisan jab and made fun of a lot of serious issues.
Including first nations housing.
I don't like the Conservatives however this speech just turns off people who care about the issues.
If politics is getting this nasty its not good for the country.

@intheory32
The issues were serious but it didn't make the National or Power and Politics or any other mainstream media program.
Justin Trudeau and Pat Martin swore and that made news.
That is the state of our politics.
You have to swear to get something done.
There is not logic, reason and no honest attempt to debate and respect one another so cheap partisan tricks rule the house.

@gundamWWW so where is this perfect model of politics represented??
