Okay guys. They're both great drummers... Two completely different styles that you cant even compare to... I think Aarons drumming fits perfectly with Underoath: hard hitting, loose, and all over the place in a good way. Rian is way more "together" like ATL. Unless you're doing drumline, WHO CARES ABOUT POSTURE OR TECHNIQUE? I'm in marching band but Aaron is a fabulous drummer. So creative. Listen to his single-stroke roles in "breathing in a new mentality" if you want to get technical

Blindfolds don't matter when you're drumming dude...You know where your kit is, I can play with my eyes closed, not that hard. The drummer from All Time Low is actually very rudimental. He uses traditional grip and has a LOT more control and is just better. He's even more original than Aaron, please don't try to compare. Idc the status of ATL, Rian is better.

Rian may or may not have better technique but what sets aaron apart from other drummers is how much of an all around musician he is. he has played all sorts of different styles including metal , metelcore, rock, pop rock, and sings at the same time.
